Sericultural Cooperatives In Yiwu, Zhejiang, Solve The Problem Of Selling For Sericulture Farmers
The winter in the countryside is even more cold, even in the clear.
Sunshine
It's freezing.
A row of houses of Heng Heng sericulture professional cooperatives built on the mountain.
Be located
At the intersection of Li Lou village and Lang Wu Village in Dachen town.
In front of the vacant lot, half of the silkworm cocoons on the line were flickering in the wind, and a group of red and swollen hands were cocoon, cocoon, cocoon and cocoon.
"Our cooperative was established in 2007. At present, only one of our co purchasing and processing cocoons can be completed in nearly 300 households.
Silkworm farmers
Solve sales difficulties. "
Yesterday, Yu Hengshan, chairman of the Heng Cheng sericulture co operative Committee, was introduced.
The average annual income of silkworm farmers is over 10000 yuan.
It is understood that in the 90s of last century, sericulture in our city was mainly distributed in Suxi, Dachen, Shang Xi, Chi bank and other places.
Due to the large risk of silkworm breeding, abnormal climate, and the outbreak of silkworm diseases, it is hard to raise silkworms, and the income is not high.
At present, the planting area of silkworm in our city is only seven hundred or eight hundred mu, and more than 90% are distributed in the area of Dachen.
Moreover, most of the farmers who raise silkworms are those who are older, whose bodies are not very good, and whose families are more economically difficult.
"Silkworm eggs are all distributed to farmers by the Municipal Agriculture Bureau.
A silkworm bed has 2.2 to 23 thousand silkworm eggs, occupying 35 square meters of space.
Due to site restrictions, the average farmer can raise three or four silk beds, but there are more than 10 silk beds.
Yu Hengshan said that the cocoon harvest has 4 crops per year, and the output per kilogram is more than 10 thousand kilograms. At present, the purchasing price of cocoon is 12 to 3 yuan per kilogram. On average, every household can earn more than 10000 yuan a year.
Buying cocoons from door to door
According to Luo Jianqi, director of Suxi supply and Marketing Association, before the establishment of the Heng Cheng sericulture professional cooperative, the cocoon purchase point was always located in Suxi supply and marketing agency. Later, the state owned silk mill in Yiwu collapsed and the cocoon sale became a problem.
Under the strong support of the city's supply and marketing cooperatives, they guide farmers to organize and set up sericultural professional cooperatives voluntarily and carry out market-oriented operation.
"Considering that all silkworms are old and frail, and are in remote mountainous areas with inconvenient pportation, we will buy them from door to door when the cocoons are ripe, so as to avoid the waste of cocoons of farmers."
Yu Hengshan said, in addition, they will help silkworms solve such problems as silkworm eggs and integrated control of silkworm diseases.
Bei Bei Village, more than 70 year old, has a leg defect and family difficulties. He has been living on a yearly basis by raising two thousand or three thousand yuan of silkworm eggs for 4 years.
Last year, he missed the time to declare the silkworm eggs to the Agriculture Bureau. He was too hungry to eat. He sighed all day long.
After being informed of the situation, Heng Cheng sericultural professional cooperative made every effort to adjust a silkworm egg for him.
When Uncle Bei got the silkworm eggs, he was so excited that he didn't know what to say.
Diversified development of traditional industries
The silkworm bought by Yiwu is usually sold to Yongkang, Wuyi and other places.
But many times, due to various reasons, cocoon sales are not smooth, backlog down and easy to deteriorate, which can rush to a group of sericultural cooperatives.
Later, with the support of Suxi supply and Marketing Association, the group bought an advanced cocoon processing equipment from Qingdao, trying to make cocoons processed into silk and registered trademarks for silk.
"Silk is environmentally friendly, breathable, warm and lightweight, and sells well. This seems to be the right way."
Yu Hengshan sincerely expressed.
Sericulture industry is not only an income increasing industry for farmers, but also an ecological and environmental protection industry.
How to develop the traditional sericulture industry? During the interview, many sericultural farmers proposed to increase the management of variety breeding and sericulture industry, increase support for the three products of the silkworm tree's leaf, fruit and branch, and gradually build up a diversified product system; bring the small silkworm breeding farm into the breeding and breeding system construction, break through the key links of sericulture development technology, and create a support scope for the sericulture into the standard garden of horticultural crops to promote the development of the industry.
