2012: Can China'S Textile Industry Break Through Tight Encirclement?
The price of raw materials has fluctuated sharply, the cost of production soared, and the competition in the international market was fierce...
The superposition of this series of factors has made the textile industry characterized by labor intensive and large export share face many challenges in 2012.
In 2012, can China's textile industry break through the tight encirclement? Can the textile enterprises develop healthily? On the 10 day, the seventh annual meeting of China spinning round table forum was held in Beijing. Experts and scholars from the textile and finance fields gave advice on this topic.
"All kinds of risks faced by the industry are significantly increased compared with previous years, and the growth rate of benefits is declining. The operation of small and medium-sized enterprises under the scale is facing greater difficulties."
Wang Tiankai, President of China Textile Industry Federation, said.
In the past year, despite the continuous structural adjustment and industrial upgrading of the textile industry,
industry
The growth of indicators is basically normal, and the operation situation is generally stable. However, the prices of raw materials are fluctuating, electricity consumption is tight, wage costs are rising, and external demand is insufficient. The growth rate of production continues to decline, and the slowdown in the growth of products in the middle and lower reaches is more obvious.
Data show that compared with the end of the first quarter of 2011, more than 1-11 months in 2011.
enterprise
Output growth dropped by 4.1 percentage points.
The textile industry federation survey data on 82 key textile industrial clusters nationwide showed that in 2011 1-10, the output value of small enterprises below the cluster area increased by only 0.3% over the same period last year, and the growth rate dropped by 9.1 percentage points compared with the first quarter of 2011.
"Especially fluctuations in raw materials.
Taking cotton prices as an example, the price low in August 2011 dropped by more than 60% compared to the March high.
Zhao Boya, chairman of China Textile Group, said that the sharp fluctuations in cotton prices not only caused
cotton spinning
The production and marketing of enterprises are not smooth, inventory potential loss and profit decline, and the negative effects are pmitted along the industrial chain, which affects the normal production and market confidence of the upstream and downstream enterprises.
At the same time, export growth has been declining.
Excluding price factors, the number of textile and garment exports increased by only 0.5% in the 1-11 months of 2011, and the number of garment exports increased by only 0.1%.
"Indicating that the export orders to the surrounding low-cost countries a large number of pfer, the international market demand for terminal is not optimistic."
Wang Tiankai said.
According to the survey of the China Federation of textile industry, about 15% small processing enterprises in the eastern part of the clustered area are in a state of stop production and semi shutdown.
"It is difficult to solve the problem of financing difficulties of textile enterprises fundamentally, and the risk of enterprise capital chain still needs to be highly concerned."
Wang Tiankai said.
Industry experts believe that the domestic and foreign environment of China's textile industry in 2012 is still very complex, and the development of the industry is tightening, especially in the first half of the year.
It is expected that the growth of demand in the international market will remain weak, and the shortage of demand, competition pressure and trade frictions faced by export enterprises will become more prominent.
Nevertheless, many experts and scholars still believe that the advantages of China's textile industry in international competition still exist.
"The basic attributes of textile and clothing as necessities of life determine that domestic and foreign market demand will not shrink significantly, and domestic demand will become the primary support for the development of the textile industry."
Zhao Boya said.
Wang Tiankai also said that although the international market competition is more intense, China's textile industry has the integrated competitive advantage formed by the mature and complete industrial system. Compared with the Southeast Asian countries with a relatively simple product structure, the Chinese textile industry still has obvious international competitive advantages in terms of variety, quality and market share.
At the same time, the market forced mechanism formed by the tight external environment will bring a new round of industry reshuffle and accelerate the adjustment and upgrading of enterprises.
The China Textile Federation expects that the production and marketing efficiency of China's textile industry will continue to grow in 2012, and the main operating indicators of Enterprises above designated size are expected to maintain two digit growth, but the growth rate will slow down compared with the previous year.
It is expected that the decline of export and profit growth will be more obvious, and the difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises and processing enterprises below scale will be more prominent.
To this end, the China Textile Federation said it would strengthen the investigation and study of the operation of small and medium sized enterprises and export processing enterprises in coastal areas, and promptly report to the relevant government departments their operational status and policy demands, and further promote the implementation of the state's policies on financial support and structural tax reduction for small and medium-sized micro enterprises.
At the same time, it will also strengthen industry self-discipline, standardize market order and trade practices, prevent excessive competition, correctly guide enterprises to do well in internal strength, and strive to develop new products, new channels and new markets, so as to better promote the sustained and healthy development of the textile industry.
