Analysis Of The Development Of Leather Industry In China In 2012

    2012/4/17 14:59:00 23

Leather IndustryChina Leather And Leather Products Market

Leather industry is a pillar industry in China's light industry.

In recent years, with the rapid development of China's leather industry, China is becoming the largest producer of leather in the world, and one of the most active and potential markets in leather trade.

After adjusting and optimizing the structure of China's leather industry, a series of leather production characteristics and specialized markets have been formed in the whole country, which play a decisive role in promoting the local economy.

Their formation has laid the foundation for the development of China's leather industry.

During the development of our leather industry, the emergence of industrial clusters and geographical clusters has broken the pattern of the balanced development of leather products and real estate sales in provinces, municipalities and districts in the planned economy period.

According to the needs of the market economy, the regional economy has developed rapidly. In the whole country, the five major leather industrial economic zones have been basically formed in the Pearl River Delta, the southeastern coast (Fuzhou, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Shandong), Central Plains (Hebei, Henan, Hunan), Chengyu (Sichuan Chongqing) and Northeast (Shen Dalong).

In the past few years, the wholesale market of leather products and the wholesale market based on commercial sales have emerged as the basis for the leather products market.

Zhejiang, Haining, Hebei, Xinji, Liaoning, mainly in leather garments.

    Tong Er Bao

    Inner Mongolia Jining wholesale market;

    leather shoes

The wholesale markets such as Wenzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenyang, Harbin, Beijing and so on are mainly located in Guangzhou, leather goods city, Liaoning Haicheng Southern Taiwan, Hebei Hebei Baigou wholesale market, as well as the establishment of wholesale markets of shoes, leather, materials, such as, ",", ",", ",", ",", "and".

In recent decades, China's leather industry has experienced the development from small to large, from weak to strong, and the private economy has also been greatly developed.

In the increasingly competitive market environment, it is not easy for China's leather industry to achieve such a success. It also proves the vitality and strength of China's leather industry.

The market potential of leather and its products is very large. The global leather demand is about 100 million square meters, equivalent to 300 million cowhide (standard leather) output. China's leather output is equivalent to nearly 70 million sheets of standard leather, accounting for 23.33% of the world's leather output.

However, enterprises in China's leather shoes industry and related industries should also face up to the fact that at present, there are many shortcomings in China. Although China is a large leather producing country in the world, it is not a leather power country. It is still in a weak position in terms of quality and value. It needs to be honed and improved in the environment of this market.

The concentration of tannery production is low, and the layout of production is relatively scattered.

The tannery industry in China has problems such as low concentration of tannery production, scattered distribution of tannery production, small scale and large quantity of enterprises, and the task of eliminating backward production capacity.

With the policy guidance of industrial pfer and structural adjustment, the tannery industry in some areas of the central and western parts of China has developed rapidly. In 2010, the output of light leather increased above 20%.

The output of light leather in Guangxi province accounted for 3.8% of the total output of light leather, which increased by 20.6% compared with the same period last year. Sichuan accounted for 3.6%, an increase of 33.4% over the same period last year; Gansu accounted for 0.3%, an increase of 28.7% over the same period last year; Hubei accounted for 0.2%, an increase of 34.2% over the same period; Chongqing accounted for 0.03%, an increase of 75.7% over the same period last year.

Of course, for the light leather output and growth rate, the internal structure of tannery industry is not the same.

Such as Hebei sheepskin leather, Zhejiang with sofa leather, furniture leather, automobile interior leather, Fujian with two layers of leather.

    Sichuan

In Guangxi and Chongqing, pigskin is the main raw material.

And Gansu's hide leather is coming up.

At present, China's raw material resources, leather products output and export are among the top of the world.

China's leather industry still has strong comparative advantages compared with developed countries such as Europe and the United States. Compared with developing countries, China's leather industry has obvious competitive advantages in terms of industrial chain, labor quality, social stability and capital adequacy. The first twenty years of this century will still be a strategic opportunity for China's leather industry to develop.

    Structural contradictions

Moreover, the structural contradictions in China's leather industry are also very serious. They are manifested in the product mix: low and medium grade products are surplus and high-grade products are few. The structure of enterprises is "small and all" and "big and all" are very common; regional structure: the industry is too concentrated in the southeast coast, and the central and western regions, especially in the western region, have fewer enterprises, and the regional and market and resource advantages are not fully realized.

Besides, the quality of our leather products is low. It shows that there is a certain gap between the quality of the leather and the quality of the products, compared with the international level.

The overall quality of leather shoes is mainly low and medium grade.

Among them, sports shoes are high and low-grade, high-end sports shoes are mainly OEM processing.

There are many brands of footwear in China, but there is no actual international brand.

Basically, it is plagiarism in design, and is in the stage of imitating popular styles in the market. It operates at low cost, low price, low efficiency and low profit.

The average price of exported leather shoes has been hovering around us $5-10 for many years, and the average export price of leather garments is only 30-40 US dollars.

Leather products and leather machinery products have a great impact on our country abroad. Domestic products are basically imitation. Leather clothing, fur clothing and luggage products, from fabric to workmanship, are also quite different from the advanced level abroad.

So far, there is no real international brand.

Because the quality of products is not high, the competition ability in the market is not strong.

Our country can only be a large country of leather production rather than a powerful country.

Serious pollution remains to be solved.

Leather industry is one of the most polluted industries. The total amount of solid waste in China's leather industry is about 700 thousand tons per year, and more than one hundred million tons of sewage is discharged.

The toxic substances emitted are 16 thousand and 800 tons of chromium (35 million tons of chromium compounds), 14 thousand tons of sulphides, 210 thousand tons of suspended solids, 350 thousand tons of chemical oxygen demand (CODCr), and 140 thousand tons of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5).

Tannery sewage has complex components, large amount of sewage and serious pollution.

In addition, the shoe adhesive contains a large number of organic solvents (benzene, toluene, ketones, esters, gasoline, etc.). The annual use of organic solvents is nearly 100 thousand tons.

With regard to pollution, the state has definite requirements and must meet the requirements on time. At present, only a few tanneries in the country have taken different measures to control pollution, so the task of pollution control is very arduous.

Leather industry is the oldest industry and an important part of light industry.

After nearly 100 years of development, China's leather industry has a sizeable scale.

Especially since the founding of the people's Republic of China for more than half a century, the leather industry has started from the devastated mess left behind by the old China. It has gone through twists and turns, and has made great progress and progress.

A complete leather industry system consisting of four main specialties of leather, leather shoes, leather goods, fur and products, and artificial leather, leather chemicals, leather machinery, leather hardware and shoe leather materials has been formed.

In the process of reform and opening up, it has been developing rapidly, and the production pattern has undergone tremendous changes. The wholesale market of leather products and the wholesale market based on commercial sales came into being at the historic moment, breaking the layout of the planned economy period, forming several major leather industrial economic zones, realizing the pformation from the backward state of traditional handicraft production to mechanization and modernization, realizing the pformation of leather products from a long seller shortage market to a buyer's market, developing into one of the most important industries in light industry, exporting the first place to light industry, and becoming a world recognized leather producer.
