Singapore Textile And Apparel Association (Taff) Launched A Costume Designer Internship Program To Build A Platform For Designers.

The chamber of Commerce (TaFf) announced the launch of the Singapore apparel project Internship Program (SDAP).
The project will provide opportunities for emerging designers in the Asia Pacific region to practice in Singapore's local fashion companies.
Designers who qualify for the Audi Audi Star Creation finals and designers who stand out from the Parco Next Next fashion training project are eligible to participate in this internship program.
Singapore textile and Apparel Association (TaFf) hopes that 14 new designers will join this latest intern project this year, and is expected to start the internship as early as September this year.
In response, both the employers and the new designers responded enthusiastically.
It is reported that more than 10 enterprises, including Charles & Keith, Crocodile International and Escala Fashion, have thrown olive branches to them.
Loh Soi Min, director of lifestyle division at SPRING, said: "the designer internship program can train a large number of design talents for the fashion industry in the Asia Pacific region.
On the one hand, emerging designers can get practical experience in product design, brand activation, customer relationship from internship, and in-depth understanding of Asian fashion market; on the other hand, it will also inject innovative vitality into local companies and help them win an invincible position in the international fashion market, which is beneficial for both sides.
