Recently, the Ministry of public security's science and Technology Information Bureau hosted the key research project of the Ministry of public security in 2010, "SWAT war training suit" in Beijing.

The project "Research on the development of special training fabrics for special police officers" is jointly undertaken by Shaanxi Yuanfeng Textile Technology Research Co., Ltd. and the Ministry of public security's Equipment Finance Bureau, the police equipment research and demonstration center.

According to the needs of special police working environment in China, this project studies the application technology of aramid fiber and other high-tech fibers, and develops a variety of protective functions such as flame-retardant, high temperature resistance, high strength tearing, antistatic, oil and water repellent, acid and alkali resistance, moisture absorption and quick drying. It is suitable for the new generation of special warfare training clothing series in spring and summer, summer and winter seasons, and provides efficient and reliable body protection for special police officers in complex and dangerous environment.

The products are tested and evaluated by the Ministry of public security's special police equipment quality supervision and inspection center, the state textile product quality supervision and inspection center, and the national Quartermaster product quality supervision and inspection center, and so on. The comprehensive technical index is higher than that of similar products at home and abroad.

In order to improve the technical level of our special police training and standardize the development and production of special training clothing for special police, the project commitment unit quotes the latest standards of individual protection at home and abroad.

The leaders of the Ministry of public finance and the Finance Bureau of the Ministry of public security highly appraised the results of the project. The leaders and experts agreed that the research results could be used as a new generation of public security special police tactical training outfit. It is hoped that the project commitment units will accelerate the industrialization and application of the technology, and apply the new results to the special police training equipment as soon as possible.

Textile for safety protection is one of the key areas in the "12th Five-Year plan" of industrial textiles. The annual demand for safety protective clothing exceeds 20 million sets in China, and the safety protection textiles, which are dominated by high-performance fiber and textile application technology, provide security for national defense, public safety and industrial special environment.

The completion of this project is entirely based on domestic high-tech fiber materials and textile high and new technology, and has a significant role in promoting the international competitiveness of China's safety protective textiles.
