Garment Manufacturers Hold Rongcheng Clothing Forum To Build Brand Factories

In May 28th, the Rongcheng garment development forum held by the Chinese clothing trade association was solemnly held in the county government conference hall.

Chen Dapeng, executive vice president of the China clothing association, introduced the form and development trend of China's garment industry. Representatives from the clothing trade associations from eight provinces and cities in the country spoke together with many clothing entrepreneurs in the county to talk about the issues of clothing research and development, brand operation and so on, and talked freely about the development plan of Rongcheng's clothing industry.

Rongcheng now has 920 garment enterprises, more than 2000 processing households, and over 70 thousand skilled machinists. The annual production of 450 million suits (six sets) of suits, shirts, casual wear and children's clothing has reached 20 billion yuan, and the products are exported to more than 50 countries and regions.

In recent years, in order to deal with the severe situation of reducing garment orders and reducing garment processing profits, Rongcheng county has actively guided enterprises to enhance brand awareness, strengthen cooperation in enterprises, increase R & D efforts, speed up industrial agglomeration and upgrade industrial level, actively promote the pformation of garment industry from production processing to marketing, brand pformation from OEM production to independent brand building, economic growth from expansion of production to upgrading of value-added products, and promotion of garment industry upgrading. The county also vigorously implements the strategy of "going out" and "coming in", organizing clothing leading enterprises to organize garment products docking activities in Shanghai, Dalian and other places, and inviting famous designers in China to be the chief designer of Rongcheng garment industry development consultant and leading enterprise.

The forum will create a "brand factory, make full use of the advantages of regional clothing resources" as the focus of future development of clothing in Rongcheng.
