The College of textiles and clothing of Guangzhou University has won the Gold Award, the best craft award and the fabric group creative design competition of the costume design competition.

This is the fifth time that the academy has won gold since it was held.

For 10 days, thousands of students from nearly thirty colleges and universities, including the textile and garment Institute of Guangzhou University, South China University of Technology, South China Agricultural University, Guangdong University of Technology and Hongkong Fashion Design Institute, embarked on the flyovers of dreams and interpreted their own works. More than 15000 professional students, such as teachers and students, costume entrepreneurs and fashion designers came in to watch the performance.

The competition was judged by the chairman of the China Fashion Designers Association, Li DQI, the three Golden Summit designer Liu Yang, Ji Wen Bo, Wu Xuekai and Yang Qibin, chairman of the Hongkong Fashion Designers Association.

After fierce competition, the competition eventually awarded 1 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. Wu Wangyang, 23 from Guangdong textile and garment Institute, won the gold prize in the work "Refresh". This is the fifth gold medal that the Textile Academy has won in the 8 best fashion design competition for University Students in Guangdong.

The work uses the breaking and reorganizing method of change, selects the rich texture of the striped fabric, and concealment the silver thread in the middle to make the silver dots appear brightly in different angles. At the same time, the effect is very beautiful by sewing the rhombus shape with the pads in different ways. Finally, the decorative fabric is reprocessed with the 0.5cm opening and opening of the leather and the mirror leather respectively. The two kinds of leather fabrics are reconstituted into another fabric by the way of weaving, and the fabric has been reconstructed two times, so that the broken surface materials of different sizes and shapes can be reassembled, and the workmanship is fine.

So this work also won the "best craft Award" single award at the same time, even two yuan.
