The annual working conference of Specialized Committee is held in Songjiang, Shanghai.
Nearly 150 people attended the meeting, Jiang Hengjie, director of Specialized Committee, China Fashion Association's down garments and products, Gao Dekang, executive deputy director, Hu Song, general manager of China Textile and garment brand pioneer park, Wang Zhuo, Secretary General of China Fashion Association and other relevant leaders, experts and business representatives.
At the meeting, the leaders and experts of feather and down products enterprises made in-depth discussions and exchanges on major issues facing the industry and the tasks of the industry.
Jiang Hengjie made a keynote speech on the current situation and tasks facing the industry, and Gao Dekang made a work report on behalf of China Garment Association's down garments and products Specialized Committee.
The report pointed out that in 2011, in the predicament of low demand, high cost, pfer of orders, difficulties in the survival of small enterprises, China's garment industry consciously embarked on the road of pformation and upgrading.
Last year, China's scale down garment enterprises produced 264 million down garments, an increase of 12.02% over the same period, and 67 million 740 thousand exports, worth 2 billion 50 million US dollars, an increase of 27.59% and 50.42% compared to the same period last year, and the average unit price of exports also increased by 17.89% to 30.26 dollars / piece.
However, under the pressure of climate warming and the impact of online store sales on traditional sales, the down jacket sales in 2011 dropped by 2.1% compared with the same period last year, and the negative year-on-year growth for four consecutive years.
At the same time, the down garment industry is showing some new characteristics, such as the rise in the cost of sales, the rise in the unit price of sales, the sharp decline in the growth rate of the anti season sales, the popularity of the thin and fashionable style, the higher level of brand promotion, the initial appearance of the brand ecology, the singing angle of the department store, and the new channel of the electricity supplier channel.
The report also made a brief review of the work of the Specialized Committee last year, and made clear the future work to strengthen the analysis and research of the development situation and dynamics of the industry, strengthen industry self-discipline, strengthen the quality supervision of the industry, help enterprises vigorously develop the domestic and foreign markets, and carry out the work of personnel training according to the needs of enterprises.
At the meeting, Xu Jian, director of the national clothing quality supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai), introduced the quality of the down garment industry in 2011.
Mr. Oka Harashi, director of the company, Mr. Li Libao, head of Statistics Department of the China National Business Information Center, and Professor Huang Weiping of Renmin University of China, respectively, on the domestic market of recyclable environmental down garment fabrics and down garments.

Under the situation, the hot topics of brand strategy of Chinese garment enterprises were keynote speeches.
The conference also commended the enterprises that performed well last year.
On the morning of June 10th, the leaders and delegates to the conference, the China Textile and garment brand pioneer park, took part in the industrial chain docking activities of the park and visited the professional service platform of the park.
