    Because of climate reasons, Chong Fu only produces Hu sheep and some hare, and foxes, raccoon and other fur industry's main raw material breeding base is mainly in Hebei, northeast and Ningxia.


    Lao Zhang will not care about the distant Italy like Zhou Jianping, where most of the exhibitors are powerful companies.

    Most of these companies have their own raw material channels, and only when there is insufficient time will they buy fur from the market.

    In Chong Fu, there are less than 30 fur processing enterprises above Designated Size, and more than 1000 under the scale, most of which are customers here.


    Lao Zhang is one of the earliest traders here.

    In 2002, the fur market was established, with only more than 100 shops in its initial stage.

    Now, the market has become the largest fur market in China. The two trading area covers 86 thousand square meters, with 910 shops. It mainly distributes raw skins and excipients of rabbit skin, Lake sheepskin, Ningxia beach sheep skin, fox skin, mink skin, raccoon skin and other raw materials.

    In 2011, the market entered the market with 26 million 895 thousand raw skins and sales volume of 3 billion 210 million yuan.


    Unlike the raw leather market, which is full of foreigners, the local clothing industry is the leading producer of clothing and fur processing products. Most of their products are displayed on the side of the fur world and mink clothing city.

    In May, it was not the peak season for fur sales. There were not a few customers. Those 40 thousand - 60 thousand yuan mink coats, which were priced at a price of 10 thousand to 15 thousand yuan, were almost the same as those in the snowball living hall.

    The fur industry of Chong Fu is related to the three Tanner who moved from Shaoxing in the late Qing Dynasty.

    They set up a tanning workshop for Hu sheep in the production of Hu sheep.

    In 1951, Chong Fu had 37 households in the workshop.

    In Zhou Jianping's memory, in the age of material scarcity, if the lamb of a new neighbor dies, the skin will be stripped down to make insole and gloves.

    The fur factory also did something similar: after the local sheep were slaughtered, the mutton was usually sold to the agricultural and sideline products procurement Station, and the sheepskin remained in the fur factory for rough processing, and then sold to the Zhejiang import and export company.

    This fur factory has reached 100 people in its prime.


    In 1990s, the fur factory was restructured and bought by a local farmer.

    His name is Lu Rongkun. Now he is the founder of Tongxiang Eagle Leather Co., Ltd. and the founder of Chung Fu fur Co. Ltd., and also the draftsman of China's first fur clothing industry standard.

    Lu Rongkun sold fish, worked as an electrician, did lumber business, and entered the fur industry later.

    Seeing that Lu Rongkun's business is booming, with a profit of over 30%, Hu Jianzhong, who originally made lumber business, has stepped into this industry and established Zhonghui fur Co., Ltd.


    Like Hu Jianzhong, more Timber Merchants turned to fur trade.

    As early as the disintegration of the fur factory, some people in Chong Fu had accumulated the first pot of gold from building materials and waste paper acquisitions.

    If you take a bus to Fu Fu, you can still see some people's doorways and lots of wood near the entrance of the town.


    A considerable number of technical workers left Lu Rongkun's factory and built small workshops with these businessmen. At the beginning of Chong Fu, nearly 70% of the fur processing enterprises came from this.

    Together with Lu Rongkun's factories, they laid the foundation for the fur industry.


    At that time, the leather city of Haining had been built and gained fame.

    The county town is not far from the town of Chong Fu, and its rise is also related to the development of Hu sheep and tanning industry.

    However, the nearby Chong Fu people did not completely copy the Haining model, but instead focused on fur industry.

    Today, the characteristics of the two can be clearly explained by the sentence of a taxi driver in Hangzhou. "Fur" is called fur, not fur, called leather.

    Haining is leather, and Fu is fur.


    These fur factories are produced in the evening and sell to Haining in the daytime, and bring back the raw materials needed for processing the new day.

    Lao Zhang met with the group of people in Haining and finally came to Chong Fu.


    "The radiation of Haining has a certain impact on the rise of Chong Fu fur. It is our original source of raw materials and sales window."

    Zhou's office is in the fur market, 200 meters from the original fur processing plant.

    Since then, Chong Fu has gradually got rid of the demand for raw leather in Haining.

    With the rapid development of Chong Fu processing industry, it is difficult for Haining to digest such a large output of Chong Fu.

    Most of our products are faced with businesses and buyers through their coverage of the whole country and the world, rather than advertising directly to consumers.


    In 2003, Chong Fu Fur Association was established.

    Zhou recalled that when the local enterprises were organized to participate in the Beijing China International Fur leather trade fair, there were only 10 exhibitors, with 51 exhibitors and more than 1/5 of the venue.


    Soon, Chong Fu fur business went to Hongkong after the organization of the association, and then went abroad.

    The market paths of Chong Fu fur enterprises are mainly in the following ways.

    Affected by the financial crisis, the Chong Fu people who have been paying attention to exports have shifted their focus to domestic sales, and their share has increased rapidly.


    In December 4, 2010, the 11 product standards of fur industry, such as "raccoon fur" and other products, will be held in Tongxiang. Tongxiang Chong Fu Fur Association has participated in the examination of 6 Chong Fu fur enterprises participating in the standards, including silver fir, Zhonghui, Xin Nuo, snowball, Zhongtian and Zhejiang Hao.

    Unlike the Chong Fu fur industry, the international fur market has been full of controversy.


    In January 2008, nearly 200 animal protectionists appeared naked in front of the Barcelona Cathedral in Spain. They showed people how many animals needed to make a fur coat. They wanted to wake up people's awareness of animal protection and remind everyone of the cruel pactions hidden behind fur.


    In China, although there are some large-scale aquaculture, most foxes, raccoon and so on are scattered among farmers, who are sold to fur traders after slaughtering, or waiting for fur traders to purchase.

    Almost no animal protection organization will go to a farmer's home to blame anyone.


    However, domestic fur materials can no longer meet the needs of Chong Fu people, especially high-grade leather, such as mink and so on.

    In March 2009, nearly half of the 250 thousand Fox Skins sold by Finland international auction house were captured by Chong Fu's fur business.


    In addition to skin racket, there are still more vigorous paths, which can be found from the customs data.


    According to the information of China Economic Net, which was reproduced in the online service hall of Shenzhen customs anti smuggling Bureau, in June 2009 and July, the Guangzhou Customs seized more than 26000 smuggled mink skins in the Pearl River estuary waters for the two time.     Customs clearance data show that in recent years, the import of fur in Shenzhen customs area is mainly duty-free processing trade. The import volume of general trade mode is relatively small, which is not consistent with the large supply in the market.

    Until now, Lu's last place to go is Russia.
