As the first exhibitor of the Taiwan clothing association, what kind of Taiwan fashion boutique will be brought to the exhibition? The former newspaper reporter interviewed Luo Chunmei, Secretary General of the Taiwan Garment Association. Reporter: how many times did the Taiwan Garment Association take part in the China International Knitting fair? What are the expectations for the exhibition?

Luo Chunmei: the Taiwan clothing association has participated in the China International Knitting Fair for the first time, hoping to find more B2B partners and manufacturers.

Reporter: how many enterprises have organized the Taiwan clothing association to participate in the needle Expo? How about the booth area and display method?

Luo Chunmei: a total of 9 exhibitors are exhibiting the Taiwan fashion boutique, including the great gratitude technology, the Sino Arab company, the Li an clothing, the South Wei Industrial, the dredging enterprise, the Javani company, the Da Bu Shi enterprise, the Yi Tun enterprise, the German horse enterprise, and the total 32 booth (3MX3M/1 booth). The booth area is 288 square meters, the booth number is E7C01~E7C10, the display methods are exhibited in static form.

The exhibition hall is planned as a semi open Taiwan Fashion Museum. It is hoped that the exhibition will enhance the overall booth image and exhibitors can really expand the mainland market.

In addition, it is echoed with the "environmental protection and energy conservation" policy in the "12th Five-Year plan" of the mainland, and based on the environmental concept of "caring for the earth and sharing the earth", it serves as an important concept for building a theme pavilion.

Luo Chunmei: our theme pavilion will be featured with "environmentally friendly functional clothing" and "Smart Technology Innovation smart clothes" featuring the latest environmental technology clothing and fabrics.

Among them, the environmental protection functional clothing series, the great love science and technology company regards "environmental protection, public welfare" as the purpose, attaches importance to the environment of mind and life, and uses recycled bottles (plastic bottles) as materials, and has been processed into bottles, tablets and esters to spin textiles, and so on.

Using technology regeneration technology to endow new products with life, hoping to lead the trend of "environmental protection products for daily necessities".

Reporter: can you tell me about the experience of Taiwan clothing association in new product display and promotion?

Luo Chunmei: the promotion of new products is mainly based on marketing, and marketing needs to participate in various related exhibitions to introduce new products to consumers.

The Taiwan Garment Association will play an active role as an industry promoter. It aims at promoting the common growth of the brand as a goal, turning passiveness into the initiative, expecting to consolidate the strength within the association, and combine all the manufacturers' supply chain of the garment industry to create business opportunities. At the same time, it will take a more flexible industrial strength and work together to bring Taiwan's garment industry into a new era.

With the rapid development, domestic enterprises are using various forces to pform and upgrade. What will be the impact of changes in the industry pattern on textile enterprises in Taiwan, China?

Luo Chunmei: the Chinese mainland has changed from the manufacturing factory in the past to the marketing market. The manufacturing advantages of garments in mainland China are not as obvious as in the past.

Therefore, only the garment enterprises on both sides of the Strait can work together to expand the international and domestic markets, so as to create a win-win situation.

Reporter: at present, what is the development status of Taiwan textile enterprises?

Luo Chunmei: due to the impact of the European sovereign debt crisis, the global economy in 2012 is still showing a low growth trend, and the global manufacturing industry is weakening.

Therefore, from the first half of this year, Taiwan's textile exports showed a declining trend and hoped to improve in the second half of the year.

The market of garment consumption in mainland China is very large, and the product mix ability and specialized production competitiveness of Taiwan garment enterprises are also well known in the industry. Their products are mainly exported to Europe and the United States, and have established good OEM and ODM partnership with the world's top brands. Mainland enterprises have the advantage of abundant labor force, and the two sides can complement each other to expand domestic and foreign markets.
