G: can you tell us about the inspiration for this season and its characteristics?

S: there are a lot of sunshine and beach elements in this season's design. I have a special feeling about the city near the sea, so I try to do a series to reflect what I love and combine two elements together. The original inspiration for this series also starts with the inspiration I went to Venice Beach last year to find inspiration. It was unwittingly noticing that there was a young man selling DIY surfboards in the crowd. He was concentrating on writing and writing. I went up to see his graffiti book, which contained all kinds of sea and beach patterns, photographs and mini designs, which made me very shocked. With all my pleading, he finally agreed to take Doodling Ben sold it to me, and this graffiti edition became the source of inspiration for this series.

Although I am not a person who likes to sunbathe on the beach all day long, I really enjoy the beach as a part of my life. On weekdays, you can work, associate, and relax in the city; when you need rest, you can go to the beach for a holiday. Such a combination of life and speed, the degree of ease. In the style of dress, you need not only the casual clothes for vacation, but also the slightly formal clothes in the city. In terms of color, the color of sunlight, beach and ocean naturally becomes the central color of this season.

After I saw the complete site, I suddenly realized that yellow and blue were the colors of Arles flag. ALS It's the place where Lacroix was born. It seems that everything has returned to its origin and has come to the very beginning. I am very pleased to find that, because I have worked in the brand for a long time, its essence has infected me with subtle influence, without deliberately searching for it, it will naturally show the unique style of Lacroix.

GQ:Christian Lacroix Homme has always been very comfortable and practical. How do you feel when you see someone in the street wearing your designs? What's unique about your menswear?

S: the purpose of our work is not to go to the show ground or to fashion clothes on fashion magazines, but to be used by people's lives. It is my greatest pleasure that customers wear clothes to the streets. My aim is to be fashionable and practical. I also hope that there will be some interest in my design. At the same time, I pay great attention to the details. Seemingly ordinary design, in fact, will highlight its uniqueness in detail. Many clothes look ordinary. When you look carefully, you will find the charm. For example, I will hide our logo design: a small fork in some casual places as decorative decoration.
