2012 Guangzhou International Fashion Festival Received Unprecedented Response
It is reported that on September 6-9, 2012, the 4-day 2012 Guangzhou International Fashion Festival and Fashion Week will be held in Pazhou Exhibition Hall of China Import and Export Commodities Fair, the largest exhibition hall in Asia. This exhibition is hosted by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, Guangzhou Garment Industry Association, Guangzhou Economic and Trade Exhibition Service Center and Guangzhou Eja Exhibition Service Co., Ltd, Jointly organized by Shanghai Junze Exhibition Co., Ltd.
Enterprises are also seeking to transform, improve brand added value, and seek the domestic market of high-end clothing with broad profit margins.
《 Outline of the Development Plan of the Garment Industry in the Pearl River Delta 》It was clearly proposed that the future layout of the clothing industry in the Pearl River Delta should be led by Guangzhou and Shenzhen, develop the headquarters economy and fashion creative industry of the clothing industry, and become a clothing fashion center radiating across the country. Wan Qingliang, secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee, was the mayor when he personally approved the proposal to polish the gold lettered signboard of Guangdong's textile and clothing industry. Therefore, this clothing festival was restarted after four years. With strong support from the municipal government, the municipal government decided to host this clothing festival to comply with the innovation and upgrading of Guangdong's clothing industry, improve Guangzhou's fashion status in an all-round way, and build Asia's fashion capital.
Guangzhou is the starting point of the "Maritime Silk Road". Guangdong has more than 30000 garment enterprises, forming 26 garment industry clusters. The garment output accounts for one fourth of the national garment output. Guangzhou Liuhua Business District alone has 34 professional garment markets, becoming the world's largest garment production base and distribution base. There are nearly ten thousand clothing brands operating at the same time in the market, with annual retail sales of more than 10 billion.
With the improvement of the economic level, the consumption and purchasing power of the people are increasing day by day. China has surpassed Japan to become the second largest luxury goods consumer after the United States. From the perspective of the clothing industry, Chinese people, including Guangdong, have gradually increased their awareness of buying clothing brands. The resulting huge demand for fashion consumption has provided a solid market economic foundation for building an international fashion city in Guangzhou. Therefore, international clothing brands have rushed into the Chinese market to seize the first opportunity. The clothing in China used to be mainly OEM.
The exhibition is oriented at professional Brand exhibition , divided into two parts: static exhibition hall and dynamic fashion week, which will be held at the same time and place. The static exhibition hall has four special halls and seven special areas, totaling 40000 square meters. The four special halls include the International Brand Hall on the first floor, the Fashion Brand Hall, the Textile and Clothing OEM OEM OEM Processing Hall on the second floor, and the Facial Accessories and Fashion Show Hall. The seven zones include: men's clothing zone, jeans and leisure sportswear zone, women's clothing and wedding evening dress zone, underwear and home clothes zone, children's clothing zone, fashion clothing resources zone, innovative design gallery and fashion trend release zone.
This exhibition covers the whole industry chain of clothing.
