Since the beginning of last year, the AQSIQ has pferred 301 HS codes related to textile and clothing products into the directory of legal inspection. Imported garments have become the objects of statutory inspection for the first time, including safety, hygiene, environmental protection and anti fraud.

Last year, the national inspection and quarantine system carried out a sampling survey on 14959 imported garments, with a 40.48% inspection rate and an internal quality.

The 1521 batch, 1668 unqualified samples, involving 730 thousand unqualified goods, the value of $12 million 200 thousand, and the batches of unqualified rate of 10.17%.
