The total output value and sales revenue of Enterprises above the industrial scale increased by more than 50%, indicating that China's textile, clothing and leather industry is accelerating to shift to the central and western regions.
According to the statistics of the autonomous region statistics bureau, from 1 to June 2012, the total output value of Guangxi's textile and garment industry and leather industry reached 19 billion 892 million yuan, up 56.20% over the same period last year, and sales revenue reached 18 billion 331 million yuan, up 59.64% over the same period last year.
Nanning customs data show that the total export value of textile raw materials and textile products in Guangxi from 1 to June was US $1 billion 191 million, an increase of 108% over the same period last year, and the total value of leather and leather goods exports was US $99 million, an increase of 7.7% over the same period last year.
