Yan Zhongbao, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau of Hanchuan Economic Development Zone, introduced that enterprises in the park are all producing in standard workshops, realizing the separation of life and production. The potential safety hazards mainly exist in small workshops outside the park. These small workshops employ less than 20 people. When they were "evicted" from Changfeng Township in March this year, all the civilian houses in Xinhe area of Hanchuan were rented out, so they had to spend 6000 yuan to sublet two houses from others. The living room was used as a workshop, and the back room was used as a bedroom. "We make clothes for the owners of Hanzheng Street. We have to follow them wherever they go."

Zhang Guochun, the general manager of Dayun Pengsen Garment Co., Ltd., is the chairman of Hanzheng Garment Industry City Chamber of Commerce in Hanchuan. He is mainly engaged in women's clothing processing, with an annual sales of more than 30 million yuan. In 2006, he spent more than 4 million yuan to buy three standard factories in Hanzheng Garment Industrial City.

Zhang Guochun expressed his deep approval for the government departments to strengthen the investigation and treatment of fire hazards. He said: "I have been doing business in Hanzheng Street for nearly 30 years, and I am deeply sorry to see some people who lost their money due to fire. The government's doing this will help the standardization and safety of clothing enterprises."

He said that in the busy processing season every year, there are five or six small workshops to support him. He suggested that some standard workshops suitable for these small workshops could be expanded nearby to eliminate hidden dangers and help development.

Village cadres: willing to cooperate with the planning and construction of factory buildings

It is understood that Hanzheng Garment Industrial City is accelerating its construction to provide standard workshops for 600 small workshops within the year. However, due to the limitation of land indicators, there are still thousands of small workshops that cannot be accommodated.

Liu Yongqing, the secretary of Hongsan Village Branch, is very worried about the current situation. He said: "After the entry of small workshops, our village increased the rent income by 3 million yuan, and boosted the consumption of catering and retail.
