    The maximum straight shrinkage of elastic denim is 5%, so the formula should be multiplied by 1.05. The elastic denim whose straight shrinkage is greater than this shrinkage is second-class.


    Cotton denim or non elastic denim: normal horizontal shrinkage; 5%, normal shrinkage: 3%.

    Spleen circumference+foot circumference+10, this 4-inch refers to the seam stop position (seam allowance in the north), and all the following inch figures are seam stop position (seam allowance).     How to identify the advantages and disadvantages of clothing quality


    To check the quality of clothing, first measure the length, chest circumference, collar and sleeve length, shoulder width, trousers length, hip circumference and waist circumference according to the model marked on the clothing to see whether the size specification is accurate, and the error should generally be less than 1.5%. After checking the specifications, it is important to check the internal quality of the clothing. The method is visual inspection, ruler measurement and strict verification. It is best to make a visual inspection before trying on.


    (1) Top: check from the front, back and side. In the front, observe whether the two sharp corners of the collar are symmetrical, without height or skew, and should be straight, the collar circumference should be close to the neck, and the inside of the collar should not be exposed; Whether the pocket position is symmetrical, whether the shoulder part is wide and comfortable, whether the back fork is flat, and whether the side seam is straight, whether the clothes and sleeves are round and even, and whether there is any unevenness or depression. Then check whether the sleeves are consistent, and whether the seam is straight and smooth.


    (2) Pants: can be inspected in three steps: plane, upper and three-dimensional. For plane inspection, choose to align and flatten the butt joints, check whether the joints are smooth and straight without hanging cracks, whether the side seams are flat, whether the pocket pads are not exposed, and whether the trouser legs are snug and consistent in size without hanging pockets. Then pull up one trouser leg to see whether the lower seam is aligned, straight, and not cracked, whether the intersection with the back seam is straight, whether the lower seam of the trouser leg is aligned, straight, and not cracked, whether the intersection with the back seam is straight, and whether the lower seam of the trouser leg is lifted.       (3) Fabric Inspection: check whether there are obvious defects, color difference, worm eaten, rat bitten, etc. If any, it does not meet the quality requirements.
