High-End Underwear Brand La Perla Will Be Sold

Recently, the US Private Equity Investment Firm

Underwear brands La Perla and Frette Srl have been sold publicly.

The two largest brand of luxury goods, however, has to be resurrected because of its heavy debts.

In October 2008, JH Partners in San Francisco bought Italy.

The brand La Perla 70% shares were successfully purchased at $400 million.

The industry believes that the sale of JH Partners must be within the range of US $300 million. If we exceed this baseline, it will be a huge loss of JH Partners.

According to the statement recently issued by JH Partners officials, neither La Perla nor Frette Srl will be sold. The group is still looking for partners for two brands.

Since 2008,

Underwear has been restructured, terminating multiple commercial sectors and reaching a two-year system of employee protection with the government of Italy.

However, because of the European bond crisis and sales problems in the backward areas, La Perla underwear brand restructuring plan has been blocked many times.

Whether it was a year ago looking for a partner or a recent sale, JH Partners still has high expectations for the prospects of La Perla and Frette Srl.
