High inventories earn money from enterprises.

"All the hard earned money has gone to the warehouse." This is the current situation of many garment enterprises in China. According to incomplete statistics, in the three quarter of this year, the inventory of clothing and home textile enterprises increased significantly, such as the stock of Hong Kong Group and the China International Group, which reached 3 billion 978 million yuan and 3 billion 481 million yuan respectively.

As of August 29th, 80 listed companies, including the apparel industry and its upstream textile industry, reported that 80 companies had a total inventory of 67 billion 100 million yuan in the first half of the year. How does the inventory come from? "For example, if the research finds that the demand for clothes on the market is 10, if the sale is bad, only 2 items will be sold, so there will be 8 stocks." A woman dress brand official in Shenzhen told reporters that the stock was mainly derived from the bad control of sales channels by enterprises, and only 10 clothes were needed in some markets. As a result, the retail sales and wholesalers and other intermediate sales links enlarged, and the order quantity was increased step by step. To the production enterprises, the number also became 20, 30 or even several times.

However, reporters found that many brands in Shenzhen have adopted the "information management" means to control inventory. Yin Bo, vice president of shadow group, said that the fashion group had no inventory pressure, mainly using the "information management" approach to control pre production, market demand and sales chain. "We have many stores, lots of channels, and many sales networks. If the management is bad, the inventory will be amazing. But because of the registration information for every garment, and at the same time, it will speed up the operation of the logistics. The industry believes that only through scientific purchase, ingenious goods and effective sales can we avoid inventory pressure. There are also no children's inventory pressure, and the company's responsible person said that the enterprise took the information management in the past few years. In order to reduce inventory, the company adopted the "sell one fill one" mode, that is, selling a garment to regenerate a garment management mode, though increasing the logistics pressure of the enterprise, but at the same time reducing the inventory pressure, this is also one of the reasons why the clothing is not often discounted.
