Reporters learned yesterday that in the current shoe fair, a number of internationally renowned brands such as France, Dupont, Montagut and Hongkong Goldlion will sign a contract with Bishan county government to invest and build factories locally.

In the future, these international brands will also achieve "made in Chongqing".

It is understood that the shoe Fair is currently negotiating a total of 55 projects, of which 11 projects are expected to sign at the shoe fair, with a total investment of around 6 billion yuan.

Among them, France, Montagut, Hongkong Goldlion, Taiwan crown, Wanlima, and Paul Lande, the top five domestic leather goods and bags enterprises already invested and produced in Guangdong, will pfer industries to the West and invest in factories in Bishan to produce leather goods and bags. French Dupont clothing and Zhejiang Haining clothing will invest in factories and produce garments in Bishan; the Asian shoe giant, Brazil, will invest 160 million yuan in Bishan, build 8-12 modern leather shoes production lines, and export shoes for international brand OEM.

In addition, due to the rising labor costs in coastal areas such as Guangdong, the rising prices of raw materials and hydropower, the shortage of labor, and Bishan's rich skilled workers, shoe materials, logistics, testing and other supporting systems, and 8 Taiwan funded footwear enterprises are also ready to move to the west, soon to settle in Bishan "China's western shoes capital."
