The Guangdong Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau has sampled 212 batches of footwear products produced by 185 enterprises in 11 cities (districts), including Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan, and failed to pass 34 batches of tests, with an unqualified rate of 16%.

In the past, carcinogenic dyes and free formaldehyde easily detected in clothing were the main reasons for the failure of footwear products.

In the spot checks, except for the "physical" items such as hook hardness, bending rigidity, wear resistance, folding resistance and upper strength, the products were not qualified. In the "chemical" project, 5 batches of products were found to be able to decompose harmful aromatic amine dyes, that is, banned azo dyes.

According to reports, azo dyes under certain conditions, harmful aromatic amine dyes are carcinogenic, and after contact with human skin, its harmful ingredients are absorbed by the skin, which can cause a variety of malignant diseases, and even cause cancer.

In addition, there are 7 batches of products were tested out of formaldehyde exceeded the standard.

Formaldehyde is confirmed by WHO as carcinogenic and deformable substances. Free formaldehyde can cause diseases such as nasopharynx discomfort, cough, acute and chronic bronchitis.

Advertising for the public known as "Hai Lan home", this time appeared in the mercerized cotton clothing sampling unqualified list.

A total of 90 batches of mercerized cotton knitted T-shirts, mercerized cotton knitted casual wear in 42 enterprises in 7 districts and 42 batches in Guangdong were disqualified.

The 5 batches of products produced by Hai Lan home's short sleeved T-shirt are related to "fiber composition and content unqualified".

Experts say that the fiber content is not qualified, that is, the measured fiber content is not consistent with the marked value, or the actual fiber does not match the name of the label fiber.

This expert emphasizes, because consumer often chooses to buy according to the indication fiber content when buying clothing commodities, the fiber composition and content unqualified will directly damage the consumer's rights and interests.

It is understood that the reasons for fiber content unqualified, on the one hand, it may be that enterprises pay less attention to fiber content when buying fabrics, on the other hand, they may not be related to clothing before entering the market.

In addition, it is not ruled out that some enterprises exist in a shoddy way, confusing and exaggerating the fraudulent consumer behavior.

Air conditioning: 2% problem on Kelong black list

Batches of air-conditioning, 2 batches of unqualified, the failure rate of 20%.

Among them, the KELON split compartment wall air-conditioner produced by Kelon air conditioner company of Guangdong is not qualified in the "continuous disturbance voltage" project.

It is reported that the 30 batches of water heaters in 30 enterprises in the province were tested and the result was 36.7%.

Up to 10 batches of "energy efficiency limits" failed to become the main problem found in the spot checks.

The "energy efficiency limited value" is mainly to assess the effect of water storage type electric water heaters on hot water, while Ronshen's water storage electric water heater has fallen on this project, but it has been rechecked after rectification.

The Provincial Quality Supervision Bureau stressed that the relevant quality supervision bureau at the prefecture level or above has been instructed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations to deal with the unqualified products and their production enterprises found in the special supervision and spot checks.
