Wang Hai Won The "Chinese Enterprise Reform Medal"

In 2008, the main venue of the national entrepreneurship day was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province in from May 24th to 25th. The meeting put forward that we should further mobilize and unite the entrepreneurs throughout the country, carry forward the spirit of entrepreneurship in the new era, and continue to firmly resolve the reform of the mind, reform and opening up, and innovation and development, so as to promote enterprises to contribute to the overall goal of achieving a well-off society in an all-round way.

Wang Zhongyu and Zhang Yanning presented the "China business reform Medal" to 109 entrepreneurs and 1 collectives who made outstanding contributions to the reform of our enterprises. 70 outstanding entrepreneurs from the whole country were commended.

In 2008, the main venue of the national entrepreneur activity day was hosted by the China Federation of enterprises and the Jiangxi Provincial People's government. The Jiangxi provincial economic and Trade Commission co operated with the Jiangxi Federation of enterprises and the Jiangxi Entrepreneurs Association.

Wang Zhongyu, President of the China Enterprise Confederation and China Entrepreneur Association, attended the meeting.

The representatives of the older generation of entrepreneurs who made outstanding contributions to China's enterprise reform were Wang Hai, former Wuhan Iron and Steel Corporation manager Huang Mobin, former Shijiazhuang first plastic factory director Zhang Xingrang, Handan Steel Group's former chairman Liu Han Zhang, chairman of Qingbao group Feng Gensheng, Wuhu Guang Kun Food Co., Ltd., chairman of the year, and director of Wuhan business group Mao Dong Sheng.

He said that after 30 years of reform and opening up, China's economic system has successfully achieved a historic pformation from a highly centralized planned economic system to a socialist market economic system, from a closed half closed to a full range of opening-up. The reform and development of our enterprises have also made great achievements. The new situation and tasks require us to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 17th CPC National Congress at the new historical starting point, and promote the modernization of enterprises with the guidance of the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics and Scientific Outlook on Development.

To promote the modernization of enterprises, we should focus on the following aspects: first, continue to emancipate the mind and establish the concept of scientific development; two, further improve the modern enterprise system and innovate institutional mechanisms; three, strive to become the main body of technological innovation, and vigorously improve the capability of independent innovation; four, actively promote management innovation and explore the management mode of Chinese enterprises; five, actively integrate global resources and continuously improve the ability of international operation; six, enhance the sense of mission and responsibility, and vigorously carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit of innovation.

At the meeting, Chen Lantong read the decision of the China enterprise alliance to award the "Chinese enterprise reform Commemorative Medal" to entrepreneurs who made outstanding contributions to the reform of Chinese enterprises. 109 entrepreneurs from Wang Zhongyu and Zhang Yanning who made outstanding contributions to China's enterprise reform and Fujian province put forward the "loosening and decentralization" director (Manager) jointly issued the "Chinese enterprise reform Medal".

Make the enterprise snowball big -- total assets increased from 8 million yuan to 6 billion yuan; sales revenue increased from less than 30 million yuan to about 10000000000 yuan; from sole engaged in footwear industry, it developed into a comprehensive manufacturing and processing industry group with shoes, tires, machinery, clothing, thermal power and five major industries.

It is learnt that the annual national entrepreneurship day is a great event for Chinese entrepreneurs. The first national entrepreneurship day began in 1994 and has been held 15 times this year.

In 1984, the 55 directors (managers) of Fujian Province issued the appeal to the Fujian provincial Party committee and the provincial government for the "loosening and decentralization" of our country, which promoted the reform of the urban economic system centered on enterprises in China.

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary actions of the 55 entrepreneurs, the Chinese Entrepreneurs Association decided to hold the national "entrepreneurial activity day".

Since 2002, the China Federation of enterprises has decided to commend the outstanding entrepreneurs in the country at the event day conference. So far, 430 entrepreneurs have been commended.
