According to the introduction, the total annual discharge of waste water from industrial enterprises in Dongguan is 2.3 million tons, and the daily average discharge is 630 thousand tons.

Among the six industries, such as electroplating, bleaching and dyeing, paper making, tanning, washing and printing, there are 1252 key polluting enterprises. The total annual wastewater discharge is 1.8 million tons, accounting for 78% of the total annual industrial wastewater discharge.
