At present, the Shihezi Development Zone has 1 million 550 thousand ingots, an increase of 1.3 times than that in 2008, 21 thousand air spinning, an increase of 2.43 times compared with that in 2008, a wide shuttle free jacquard loom from scratch, reaching 148 units, and also filling the blank of Xinjiang wide shuttleless loom jacquard loom. Shihezi cotton spinning base has become the largest scale, the highest level of equipment, the best economic and social benefits, and the fastest growing area in Xinjiang cotton textile industry. In the past two years, due to the fact that the international economic environment is not optimistic and the domestic price of cotton has changed greatly, the cotton textile industry in China is not prosperous as a whole in the past two years.
