The blue and white porcelain design is inspired by Chinese blue and white porcelain, and will be used in all water projects such as the National Aquatics Center "Water Cube", Shunyi water park and Qingdao.

The only men's dress of the Beijing Olympic ceremonial costumes is the flag raising hand clothing: the flag raising clothing that echoes with the blue and white porcelain dress. It embodies the Chinese traditional culture without losing masculinity and will appear in all the Olympic and Paralympic Games venues.
