Through the first round of cleaner production audit, the electricity consumption of viscose fiber decreased from 929.16 kilowatt hours per ton to 875.96 kwh after verification. At the same time, 1 million 880 thousand tons of water and 225 tons of sulfur dioxide were reduced, and the annual economic benefit was 7 million 110 thousand yuan.
The company also used new technology to treat carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide in the process of chemical fiber production.
The project uses carbon disulfide adsorption and multistage countercurrent hydrogen sulfide gas absorption technology to recycle waste gases containing sulfur compounds (main components H2S and CS2) in the process of chemical fiber production. Carbon disulfide is used in production and hydrogen sulfide is made into sodium sulphide tablets for export.
The industrial waste gas in the production of viscose can be utilized to achieve cleaner production, and 9311 tons of carbon disulfide can be recovered in the year. Hydrogen sulfide will generate 8143 tons of sodium sulphide, creating an economic benefit of about 5 million yuan.
Since the implementation of the project, annual emissions of 177.6 tons of carbon disulfide and 72.5 tons of hydrogen sulfide to the atmosphere have been reduced.
