Our reporter has learned that the layout of JEANSWEST's production in the mainland of China is mainly determined by product type. Jeans are mainly placed in the headquarters of Guangdong, Huizhou, the wool fabrics are in Dongguan, the knitted fabrics are in Suzhou, and the down garments are mainly produced in Jiangsu Changzhou, which is convenient for quality supervision and control of the return rate. In recent years, JEANSWEST's return rate has been controlled at around 2/1000, while the return rate of the entire garment industry is about 1%.

All along, the down garment industry is chaotic, and adulteration or Jerry building happen from time to time. However, JEANSWEST insiders denied that the problem was related to the price rise of raw materials. It said that the indication value of the garment and the actual value detected by the AQSIQ were only less than five percentage points. This factory should not counterfeit for saving the cost of raw materials, and the specific situation is still under investigation.

According to the AQSIQ's spot checks, the down weight of men's down coats checked by JEANSWEST was 87% and the actual value was 82.3%. While POOVE (China) Co., Ltd. has the largest moisture content in mid length cashmere clothing, with an indication value of 67%, while the measured value is only 36.8%.

At present, JEANSWEST has been shrinking in the Chinese mainland market, with 2600 stores in the first half of last year, a decrease of 229 over the same period last year.
