Coastal Garment Industry Speeds Up Pfer To Hinterland Henan

According to the news of Henan garment industry association, affected by the financial crisis, the pace of the pfer of garment enterprises to the hinterland of China's coastal areas is accelerating, and the hinterland has become a hot spot for the coastal garment industry to open up new battlefields.

According to incomplete statistics, dozens of garment enterprises and related enterprises in coastal areas have settled in Henan this year.

Li Gang, executive vice president and Secretary General of Henan garment industry association, said that garment enterprises in coastal areas have been pferring to the mainland in recent years.

In the second half of this year, the sudden financial crisis has accelerated the pace of such enterprises pferring to the mainland. Almost every month, garment enterprises from Guangdong, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Fujian seek cooperation opportunities in Henan.

According to incomplete statistics, there are four Guangdong garment enterprises and Xinmi Garment Industrial Park signed a cooperation agreement, one of them has started production; a women's clothing factory located in Zhongmu is "recruiting"; Zhengzhou Zhengzhou Textile Industrial Park in the western region and Xinzheng in southern Zhengzhou, and other places, there are foreign clothing enterprises settled.

About thirty enterprises in the garment industry of Xintang, Guangdong have visited Anyang and Huaxian and settled here.

In addition, Pingdingshan, Luoyang and Zhumadian have a certain size of foreign garment enterprises settled this year.

Li Gang analysis shows that Henan's labor advantages, location advantages and efforts of local government departments in attracting coastal industrial pfer provide conditions for coastal garment enterprises to compete in Henan.

At the same time, under the background of the blocked export, the garment enterprises in coastal areas have shifted their development priorities to the mainland, in order to further tap domestic demand, because Henan, with its large population, is itself a huge consumer market.
