Lin Lei, Deputy Secretary General of the Fujian apparel industry association, told reporters that textile exports were grim. The market was single, the market competition was low price as the main means, the lack of brand and innovation ability made such a small factory take the lead, and in Guangdong and other provinces and cities, this type of processing factory was also dominated.
But in Xiamen, factories mostly invest directly in foreign enterprises or create their own brands. Such brand enterprises have relatively fixed consumption groups and business strategies. The international financial crisis has little impact on them.
"At this time, the famous enterprises enter the building in succession. The reason is that besides the stable consumer market in Xiamen, Xiamen also attaches importance to the radiation effects on the periphery and abroad."

A senior apparel industry who ordered from Shandong analyzed that the profit level generated by the service itself was higher than the selling price of the commodity.
Therefore, customers are usually willing to pay up to 5% to 15% of the commodity premiums for suppliers who provide the best service, including the rapid response of products, packaging of goods, distribution, insurance and other services.
In Xiamen, it is also difficult for other cities to provide a good hardware environment for these services. Therefore, it is not surprising that brand enterprises choose to search for "machines" when they are in danger.
"Although the current financial turmoil has minimal impact on Fujian, the key to success is to see the first half of next year."
In the 09 new spring and summer conference, Wu Jintu, President of Fujian apparel industry association, said that enterprises will face more difficulties in the first half of next year.
