EU Green Leather Products Alliance Supported By The International Tanning Association

Last year, CONTANCE successfully applied for leather to become one of the EU's "green products" pilot projects in P. But before the start, the European Commission asked the representatives of the leather, meat, dairy, feed and pet food industries to set up a new working group to try to reach agreement on the system boundaries of the stakeholders in the value chain of live cattle, and clearly how to share the responsibility of environmental protection. 
In May 12th P, CONTANCE noted that due to incomplete response, members of the technology Secretariat established by the organization will help run the pilot project. "All members of the organization responded positively."
