Vietnam'S Footwear Exports Fell 1/4 In The First Month Of This Year
According to statistics from the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam, Vietnam's merchandise exports amounted to only $3 billion 800 million in January this year, down 25% from the same period last year.
Among them, almost all the main export commodities have dropped significantly, crude oil has dropped by 52.4%, clothing and textiles has dropped by 33.2%, footwear has dropped by 25.8%, wood products have dropped by 31.7%, electronics, computers and accessories have dropped by 35%, aquatic products have dropped 18.6%, and coffee has dropped 30%.
Only rice grew by 155%.
At the same time, imports were only 4 billion 100 million US dollars, down 45% compared to the same period last year.
