A Hat That Changes Colors According To Ideas.

Hat should be very common to us, and now it is Hat It also has a variety of functions. For example, some hats can show the wearer's nervous activity. But no hat is as amazing as the NeurotiQ introduced today, making use of 3D printing technology.
NeurotiQ is a fashion called Kristin Neidlinger. Designer With the help of MACHINIC and colleagues Grant Patterson and Nathan Tucker, she created a very unique headdress. The NeurotiQ consists of the following components: a Emotiv EEG headset, 14 3D printing Synaptic dots and nylon knitted fabrics.
Among them, these 14 synaptic dots are called "Globules" by designers. These small droplets are equipped with LED lights, corresponding to 14 Emotiv Epoc EEG brain sensors, which are placed in different areas of the wearer's head. Small droplets (LED lights) will represent different brain states according to the different colors of the brain waves.
According to the different colors displayed by small beads, different brain activities of wearers are indicated. For example, red is deep sleep, orange means meditation, and yellow green indicates that the wearer is very conscious. Different lights can show different colors and different activities involved in different parts of the brain.
In addition to showing different activities of the brain, another function of NeurotiQ is to promote the so-called "Extimacy" or "externalized intimacy". Designer Neidlinger hopes that this magic hat can help people deal with communication disorders and help patients with autism communicate effectively.
"The communication medium of this new situation may change the way people communicate," wrote Kristin Neidlinger, the designer of NeurotiQ. And these perceptual design can promote physical awareness, insight and spontaneity, which will be very interesting.
NeurotiQ is the first 3D printing technology work of Kristin Neidlinger. It can be said to be a very good material experiment. But at this stage, we print out solid objects, so the wearing comfort is low. Moreover, NeurotiQ is as hard as armor, so it is likely to affect physical activity.
In view of such disadvantages, Neidlinger came up with other ways. The printing technology was combined with the traditional knitting, and the small beads were woven into a nylon fabric with about 61 hours.
These small droplets are printed on a Form1 3D printer and printed in 8-10 hours. Overall, the whole 3D printing process lasted 102 hours. At present, this product is also a concept product, and designer Neidlinger will move the NeurotiQ to T as soon as possible.
At this stage, if you want similar fashion technology, you may choose the Sensoree sweater that is designed for Neidlinger.
