Cotton Problem To Strengthen Convergence Interaction

In October 16th, the 2014 China Home Textile Conference was held in Beijing. Members from local trade associations, home textile enterprises, colleges and universities, as well as executive directors, directors and relevant personnel of the China Textile Association, attended the meeting.

Yang Zhaohua introduced the performance of the industry in the first three quarters of 2014 and its achievements. He pointed out that the current development trend of the home textile industry was basically stable, but the economic growth rate slowed down significantly compared with the previous two years.

On the one hand, this indicates that the pformation and upgrading of home textile industry is deepening. On the other hand, it also reflects that the development of home textile industry is still facing many practical pressures. The problems of rising raw materials, energy saving and emission reduction, the rationality of regional distribution, the balance of development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the prominent structure of market demand need to be highly concerned.

It said that since the beginning of this year, the association has focused on industrial pformation and upgrading, focusing on the main problems facing the development of home textile industry, and has made extensive investigations and studies, and put forward many policy recommendations that are conducive to the smooth development of the industry.

At the same time, the China Home Textile Association has carried out the comprehensive service of the industry, innovating the train of thought and improving the service quality in the light of the development requirements of "steady growth, adjusting structure and promoting pformation".

Next, the China Home Textile Association will closely carry out industry investigation and study in close connection with the needs of the industry, and make full use of resources inside and outside the industry to study and solve the major problems in the industry.

At the same time, we should continue to strengthen the comprehensive services of the industry, effectively serve the industry and enterprises, do a good job in the preliminary research work of the "13th Five-Year" development plan, lay a good foundation for planning, and improve our organization and management system, so as to open up a new prospect for the reform and innovation of the association.

At the meeting, most of the entrepreneurs discussed cotton problem. Cotton, as an important raw material for home textiles, fluctuated in price and quality related to the overall situation of the home textile industry.

For the trend of cotton prices, entrepreneurs generally feel the prospect is confused and the market direction is not clear.

The state controlled cotton market for many years, making domestic cotton prices stable at a high level and at the same time forming a huge domestic and foreign spread.

The imbalance between the purchase and storage and the dumping and storage, as well as the runaway control of imports caused a high inventory of state reserves, and caused tremendous changes in the domestic cotton supply structure. The proportion of imported cotton increased significantly, and the proportion of domestic cotton in the market dropped sharply. All of these brought difficulties to the management decisions of home textile enterprises.

How to tackle common challenges and seize opportunities in the new round of technological revolution with brand promotion and intelligent weaving as the main task is the common task facing the global home textile industry.

Yang Zhaohua said that in the new international market pattern, China will strengthen the integration and interaction of the global home textile industry chain supply chain cooperation, logistics, retail, technology and other systems, open up the global home textile market, expand trade, and the coordinated development of China's home textile industry is imperative.

After years of development, the original more than 300 acres of maize dryland have basically been replanted in the village.

Every household raises silkworms, and the largest species of silkworm rearing families have more than 20 mu of mulberry trees. According to the market price this year, the annual income can reach about 70 thousand yuan.

According to preliminary statistics, as of October 8th, 18872 silkworms were produced in the county, and the output of fresh cocoons on the market was 614 thousand kilograms, with an output value of 24 million 570 thousand yuan.

It is estimated that more than 20 thousand silkworms will be produced throughout the whole year, and the output value is expected to reach 30 million yuan.
