The spring auction in 2014 has already begun. The jewel emerald and the famous exhibits in the Sotheby's auction show, which just opened in Hongkong, occupy the central position of the exhibition.

As a special category of art auction market, jewelry jade is more fashionable and value-added.

Jewellery jadeite is highly concentrated in value. It is the most convenient property to collect, carry and pfer. It also has strong wearability and decoration. It has high space for collection and appreciation.

1. Jewelry

Jewelry jadeite, especially high-end jewelry, has an important position in the domestic auction market.

In addition to practicality, the appreciation of high-end jewellery jadeite is also more attractive.

In the past ten years, only according to the statistics of China's jewel jade auction, according to the data of the Art Market Research Center, the total turnover of such auctions in 2004 was only 36 million 920 thousand yuan, and then showed a trend of rising trend. In 2012, the total turnover reached 4 billion 572 million yuan.

Despite the drop in 2013, the total turnover was 3 billion 794 million yuan, which is more than 100 times the market growth in 2004.

In 2013, the total sales volume of China's jewel jade auction was 3 billion 794 million yuan, and the auction records from Hongkong accounted for 2 billion 816 million yuan, compared with the total turnover in mainland China only 918 million yuan.

It can be seen that Hongkong occupies the position in such auctions.

In 2013, Christie's in Hongkong and Sotheby's in Hongkong launched two jewellery emerald in the two quarter of spring and Autumn Auctions respectively.

Only Sotheby's 2 Special Deals amounted to HK $1 billion 300 million, and Christie's 2 Special Deals amounted to HK $1 billion 500 million.

Although the market in the mainland has not been very warm, jewellery accounts for a growing share of the auction market in the Hongkong market.

In Sotheby's spring auction in Hongkong, the jewellery list reached HK $720 million, accounting for 32% of the total turnover of the spring auction, compared with less than 20% in 2012.

Hongkong Christie's spring auction, jewellery list turnover also amounted to HK $713 million, accounting for 25% of the total turnover of spring auction, of which the largest top drop diamond in the history of auctions was $11 million 151 thousand and 200. This is also the third world diamond auction record set up after Christie's New York and Geneva.

Jewellery emerald is more beautiful in Autumn Auctions.

The senior jewellery specialist has also served as director of Christie's global jewellery department, leading Christie's global jewellery department.

Under his leadership, the auction of Christie's jewellery in Hongkong also increased significantly. In 2010, the turnover amounted to $163 million, accounting for 38% of Christie's global jewelry sales total of 426 million dollars.

Hongkong Christie's also launched a private jewellery auction in Hongkong's first auction in 1986, with a history of 25 years.

The two auction companies have been actively promoting for many years, and have trained a group of people who collect jewelry and jade.

These collection groups are not only confined to private collectors in Asia, but also include many European and American private collectors. Therefore, "jewel Emerald" has a relatively stable market in Hongkong. The record of high price of jewellery and jade is often created in Hongkong market.
