Regenerated Chemical Fiber Polyester Industry Standard Will Be Introduced

Reporters learned yesterday from the Ministry of industry and information technology.

The industry will be managed and the relevant industry standard conditions have been preliminarily enacted.

Standard conditions require active merger and reorganization of related enterprises and effective integration of existing capacity.

According to the latest news of the reporter, "standard conditions for regenerated chemical fiber (polyester) industry" (hereinafter referred to as "

"Conditions") has been completed and is currently in the stage of soliciting comments.

The regenerated chemical fiber polyester industry is the direction of pformation and upgrading of China's chemical fiber industry, and has great significance in energy conservation and emission reduction.

For this reason, the Ministry of industry and Commerce requests that the new and rebuilt chemical fiber (polyester) project should conform to the national industrial policy and related industrial planning and layout requirements, and meet the requirements of the overall land use planning, urban master plan, environmental protection planning and so on.

At the same time, the draft is prohibited in national laws and regulations.

And reconstructing chemical fiber (polyester) project in the drinking water source protection area, nature reserve, scenic area and important ecological function area approved by the people's government at or above the provincial level.

The existing enterprises in these areas should gradually move out.

The draft also put forward other requirements for new and extension projects, including production capacity, process and equipment requirements, and resource consumption indicators.

Among them, the annual production capacity of recycled chemical fiber raw materials (bottles and tablets) is not less than 30 thousand tons.

The draft also suggested that departments in charge should actively promote merger and reorganization of related enterprises, effectively integrate existing capacity and enhance industrial concentration.

At the same time, the regenerated chemical fiber (polyester) project which does not meet the requirements of relevant regulations and requirements of this specification should be eliminated within a specified time limit; financial institutions do not provide any form of additional credit support.
