The vice president made an important speech at the conference.

He said that since the "12th Five-Year", the whole industry has been focusing on the center of textile power construction, and has fully implemented the tasks of "50+110" in the textile industry "12th Five-Year" outline of scientific and technological progress. It has led the whole industry to increase the intensity of scientific and technological input and the growth of innovative teams. A series of breakthroughs have been made in the key generic technologies of the industry. Especially in the background of China's current economic new normal situation, the textile industry is facing the urgent situation of pformation, development, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. A series of severe external risks and increasingly prominent internal contradictions must be fundamentally solved through comprehensive deepening reform, and the task is very arduous.

The new situation and tasks put forward new and higher requirements for our textile science and technology education.

Sun Ruizhe stressed that under the new tasks, new requirements and new situations that we need to comprehensively deepen reform, the new normal economic situation in China and promote the building of a textile power, we should carry out the innovation driven development strategy, create new advantages in textile technology and talents, and initially realize the great power of Textile Science and technology and talents.
