2020 Dubai World Expo Alibaba And The UAE Industry And Commerce Association Push Procurement Platform.
In order to welcome the 2020 Dubai World Expo, the 2022 Qatar world cup and other large events in the region, the Dubai chamber of Commerce and industry jointly launched the procurement platform with Alibaba.
In November 26th, a reporter reported that Belaid Rettab, director of the Dubai industry and Commerce Association, said that the platform was specially customized for the procurement needs of World Expo in 2020, mainly focusing on 5 industries, namely, building materials, consumer electronics, machinery, fashion items and clothing.
He said: "the Mega Sourcing 2020 platform is launched on Wednesday. Our target group is small and medium-sized enterprises and large companies in the Middle East and China.
This platform is also a bridge for us to strengthen economic exchanges with China and the Middle East.
