    Liu Minghui said that in the fifty-ninth articles of the labor law and the appendix of the special regulations on the protection of women workers' labor, women are not allowed to engage in fourth level physical labor, such as continuous weight bearing not exceeding 20 kg.

    "This law is for the care of women, but objectively it is a discrimination against women, and set up a high entry threshold."

    Liu Minghui said he hoped that through this case, the Legislative Council would be urged to amend this provision.
