The reporters surveyed 30 20-30 year old consumers in Wuhan, including "H&M", and 26 of them said they did not know the quality of the brands such as "H&M", while 4 of them had more than 15 clothing brands, 6 had 10-15 pieces of clothing; 21 said they bought them because of fashion fashions; at the same time, there were 27 people who chose to have the quality problems of their clothes, and because they were cheap, they did not exercise their rights.

After the reporter told the above brands were exposed to quality problems, 6 people expressed willingness to continue to buy the brand.

It is understood that these "fast fashion" brands have two main production modes in China: one is the factory responsible for designing, producing and developing new raw materials and other links. Brand buyers purchase from factories, and the other is brand manufacturers commissioned by manufacturers, brand manufacturers are responsible for designing, making production fabrics for factories, and finishing and purchasing fabrics by factories.

Zhou Jin, Deputy Secretary General of Hubei clothing trade association, believes that any brand has such defective products.

He advises consumers not to blindly pursue famous brands, not to covet cheap and impulsive consumption, to pay attention to their styles and personas, but also to focus on texture and workmanship.

Consumers should pay attention to their logo both inside and outside to ensure the unity of their components.

There are many opportunities for clothing pollution during the production process.

"Now many people are concerned about food safety, and little care about clothing safety. We do not know that toxic clothing is no less harmful to human health than toxic food."

Wang Weinuo, director of Wuhan Quality Inspection Institute, said that the unqualified items of the problem were mainly fiber content, pH value, color fastness, formaldehyde, decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes and so on.

"According to a common sorting of unqualified items, fiber content is ranked first, color fastness is second, formaldehyde is again, there is pH value, and decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes are the most serious ones."

Formaldehyde content and pH value items are related to human health.

He warned that the normal pH value of human skin is slightly acidic, which can protect the body from infection by bacteria.

If the clothing pH value is too high, the alkalinity is too big, the irritation enhancement, is likely to cause the skin immunity disorder, produces the burning sensation, the breeding bacterium, may cause the dermatitis, the skin itch and so on symptoms.

Formaldehyde in the high temperature and high pressure environment, let formaldehyde molecules and cotton fiber molecules interlinked, can produce wrinkle resistance effect.

However, if the processing is not rigorous enough, or after treatment is not clean, it will cause formaldehyde to be released from the cloth.
