The Fifteenth China Japan Textile Trade Annual Conference Was Held In Japan

The fifteenth China Japan textile trade annual meeting was held in Japan. From 1996 to now, the two sessions have held 15 annual meetings, offering suggestions for the two countries to exchange and learn from each other, and promote the development of Sino Japanese textile and garment trade.

In April 27, 2015, President Jiang Hui and the delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs went to Japan to participate in the fifteenth session.

President Jiang Hui said in his speech that the 15 sessions of the two sessions have been held since 1996.

It is hoped that the two sessions will carry out in-depth cooperation on the basis of the continued holding of the annual conference. Apart from paying attention to China's export to Japan's textile and clothing industry, we should also attach great importance to the huge consumer market in mainland China, and refer to the successful operation of UNIQLO and MUJI in China, and explore how more Chinese and Japanese enterprises can strengthen cooperation and expand the Chinese market.

Later, President Jiang introduced Japan and China's textile and clothing trade situation. The general manager of Tian Fu Three Yue Ma Wei Min, general manager of Jiangsu Hui Hong Lining and general manager of Qingdao Jimo Bo introduced the experiences of Japanese cooperative partners for many years. They expressed cooperation with Japan in the pformation of innovation mode. The two countries should give full play to their complementary advantages and believe that future opportunities are more than challenges.

Mr. Yashima, chairman of the input-output group, welcomed the delegation's visit.

He said that China's export of textile and clothing to Japan increased from US $13 billion 400 million in 1996 to US $26 billion 200 million in 2014, and the textile and clothing trade between the two countries was closely integrated and developed rapidly. This is due to the efforts of our predecessors. We have the responsibility to make bilateral relations stable and long-term.

He said that the current trade between China and Japan is affected by some factors. There are two main points: first, the depreciation rate of the Japanese yen to the US dollar is more than 20%; the two is that the domestic consumption tax in Japan has risen from 5% in April 2014 to 8%, resulting in a decline in Japanese consumption intention and a downturn in the market.

97% of the Japanese clothing market is imported from abroad, China accounts for 68% of the import share, 7 percentage points lower than that of 2011, and the share of imports from Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries is rising. However, the advantages of China's complete industrial chain and quick reaction mechanism will not change very quickly, and efforts will be made to enhance brand, design and innovation ability. The relationship between China and Japan will continue to be very important.

As an external window, the two sessions play a positive role in the development of bilateral trade and hope to communicate openly on the platform.

Subsequently, Japan introduced Japan's official announcement of the use of specific azo dyes.

President Jiang and chairman of the eight islands signed the memorandum of the annual meeting, and agreed to hold the next annual meeting in China next year.

During the visit to Japan, the delegation also visited the Dongli Association, Tian Village Ju company, Marubeni and Sumitomo Corporation, to understand the changes in the Japanese market and the trend of international purchasing, and to exchange the cooperation between the two countries.
