Exclusive Interview With Yin Sipei, Designer Of North Fashion Week Gold Award

In her words and deeds, we can feel her humble and persistent attitude and her deep love for clothes.

And her love of freedom, pursuit of comfortable and casual attitude of life also let her design inadvertently emit the pure and tranquil flavor of life.

There has been a lot of talk about winning prizes before, but they try to avoid such an idea. They think it is a kind of interference. If they think too much, they will not be able to do what they should do.

The purpose of Bi is just to give the university four years' own regrets.

The award is a recognition of my design and a reward for my hard work for a long time.

In terms of winning the award, I also had a lot of problems, but anyway, I was the winner before winning the prize.

Like all the other designers, our work has already been presented to all of us. Our efforts have already been witnessed.

The award has played a guiding role in the mentality of the big environment. All the attention has been focused on winning the prize. In the few minutes before and after the award, our works have not changed, nor have the people changed.

The attitude of the environment to all designers has changed dramatically, so that the mentality of designers has changed.

These were all unexpected but still surprised me.

This time, I am the person on the podium. This award represents the affirmation of the industry's predecessors, and also gives me more confidence in my own ideas. I regard it as an identification and an understanding, which is what I really want to get.

Yin Si Pei: I saw other students' clothes in the background. They felt very good. I liked them very much, so I never thought the gold prize would be me.

I feel that I don't have any special advantages, nor have I ever thought of being a leader, but simply looking at the series of different feelings made by people in different ways of thinking and different ways. It is very interesting that every series of costumes has its own wonderful behind the scenes events.

The spark formed by the difference of thinking between designers and designers is actually a ladder to create better works.

Yin Si Pei: Synaesthesia of synesthesia clothing / clothing, a sensory stimulus or cognitive pathway will spontaneously and unactively induce another perception or cognition, called "Synaesthesia".

This series of design takes the designer as the carrier, triggers different perception on different levels, and shows it through the form of clothing.

Yin Si Pei: the design itself is the process of innovation, "special" is necessary.

I like to do lots of experiments in the process of designing.

It may draw on some materials that are not used, the sources of materials are also very extensive, building materials, industrial materials and so on.

Sometimes, as long as the right way is taken, the material of rotten Street will become rich and colorful.

This series of clothing material inspiration, mostly from my daily life, constantly explore, collect and accumulate income.

Yin Si Pei: there are many difficulties.

This series lasted for more than 3 months, from the arrangement of the inspiration source to the completion of the final garment, each stage has to go through different problems, constantly self denial and rework.

I have endured both psychological and physical tests.

But I have to admit that this is also the most rewarding experience.

For now, this seemingly painful experience will be a memorable memory for me.

Yin Si Pei: I don't think there is anything special in this series. If we can get sympathy from you, perhaps you feel the most sincere expression of my clothes.

As for details, I did not deliberately show it.

Yinsi Pei: for me, this is a very rare experience. I grew up quickly in this design and became a way I could not imagine before.

It is an unexpected new brand, and this graduation project is the best witness for my growth.
