Hello everyone!

It is a great pleasure to meet friends from the international wool textile industry to attend the eighty-fourth International Wool Textile Conference in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China.

Here, on behalf of the China Federation of textile industry, I would like to extend my warm congratulations on the convening of the conference and extend a warm welcome to friends from the international wool textile industry.

Since the reform and opening up, China's wool textile industry has been developing rapidly. By the 90 century of last century, China has become the world's largest woolen processing country and consumer country. China's position and role in the international wool textile industry has become increasingly prominent.

In 1998, 3 menses approved by the State Council, the Chinese wool textile industry association represented China to join the International Wool Textile Organization and became the China National Committee of the International Wool Textile Organization.

In the big family of the International Wool Textile Organization, China's wool textile industry has the opportunity to learn and develop together with the international counterparts.

As the International Commission of Wool Textile Organization, China Wool Textile Industry Association has successfully hosted seventieth, 77 and 80 annual three sessions in Shanghai, Beijing and Hangzhou in 2001, 2008 and 2011 respectively.

This year, China hosted the current conference to present and introduce China's wool textile industry's development achievements and future development plans and ideas in the light of the agreement of the International Wool Textile Organization.

I hope that with the theme of "wool heading for the future", the Chinese and foreign wool textile colleagues will enhance cooperation and create a better future.

The International Wool Textile Organization as a non-governmental international organization in the world's trade interests in wool production, wool textile industry and related fields has played an important role in promoting the development of the international wool textile industry for a long time. Regular analysis and Discussion on issues of common concern in the world's wool textile industry, the formulation of trade guidelines for the maintenance of industry wide interests, and the formulation of the testing methods and rules that are issued jointly by the whole industry show that the organization has wide representation and appeal in the global wool industry chain.

We are very pleased to work with the members of the International Wool Textile Organization to make joint contributions to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the world's wool textile industry.

In the 2015 year of the year, the world economic growth is expected to increase, but the overall recovery is slim and fragile.

Entering the new normal, China's economy will maintain steady growth at medium and high speed. With the increase of residents' income and the steady progress of urbanization, the scale of domestic demand will continue to expand.

At present, consumption upgrading has become the main feature of domestic demand development at this stage. Consumers' demand for personalized design development and marketing mode innovation of textile and clothing products will become the main change characteristics of domestic consumption.

Basically achieving stable operation and integrating various factors, China's textile industry is expected to continue to operate smoothly in the 2015 years. The steady growth, structural adjustment, quality improvement and efficiency enhancement are still the main tasks.

As an important part of China's textile industry, the wool textile industry has played an important role in promoting the pformation and upgrading of the textile industry.

In recent years, China's wool textile industry presents a new development trend. Digitalization, networking and intelligent technology have been widely applied. Through remote customization, off-site design, collaborative production, remote monitoring and other information technology, users' needs are fully embodied in all aspects of product design, production and service, forming a brand new product development mode.

In terms of product design, through the development of high-end, personalized, leisure, intelligent, low carbon and environmental protection of wool textile products, it can provide differentiated products and meet the needs of consumers.

In terms of technology research and development, we have developed functional and high value-added products through the application of new spinning and dyeing and finishing technologies to woolen products.

In brand management, through product brand management promotion, enhance customer awareness and loyalty to products, improve product development targeted, personalized, differentiated.

In the aspect of channel management, we should improve the marketing network and integrate sales policies, improve the reaction speed of market demand, and drive new products to enter the market quickly.

In customer management, improve after-sales service, master customer needs, effective feedback product development information.

In recent years, China's wool textile industry has attached great importance to product structure adjustment and optimization, and has made important breakthroughs. First, we should strengthen the development of high-end woolen fabrics, make full use of rare animal fibers such as wool and cashmere to develop natural and environmental friendly wool textiles, and improve the quality and grade of products through the use of textile and dyeing and finishing technologies.

Two, we should strengthen the development of high value-added products of wool spinning, and develop high value-added wool textile products such as technical textiles, functional textiles, green textiles and intelligent textiles through the organic combination of wool and differentiated fibers.

The three is to expand the use of wool textile products, and expand the use of wool textiles in household textiles, industrial textiles and decorative products through cross industry cooperation.

In the future development, China's wool textile industry will focus on three directions.

First, speed up the overall innovation capability of the industry.

We should effectively integrate all aspects of resources, pay attention to the establishment and upgrading of innovation system, and establish a scientific and technological innovation mechanism which is market-oriented, enterprises as the main body, scientific research institutes and tertiary institutions as the support, and closely integrated with the industry, University and research institutes.

The basic scientific research of wool physical and chemical properties, carding theory, on-line monitoring and control system of spinning and weaving is carried out. The basic theories of product structure and wearing performance are thoroughly studied; and the achievements of Textile Scientific and technological innovation are accelerated in wool scouring, knitting, spinning, fabrics, woolen knitted garments and blankets.

To promote the application and industrialization of the whole industry chain such as artificial fur, strengthen the pformation of equipment, technology and management, expand the comprehensive utilization of raw materials, enhance the processing level of wool, expand the development of high-end products and improve the performance of products, expand the proportion of products with high environmental protection and high technology content, enrich product varieties, meet the increasing consumption demand at various levels, and maximize the benefits.

Two is to strengthen energy conservation and emission reduction and resource utilization.

We will accelerate the R & D and application of advanced and applicable technologies and equipment in the fields of low carbon, energy saving, green environmental protection and resource recycling in the wool textile industry; organize and implement the common and key technology development and industrialization application demonstration of energy conservation, consumption reduction and emission reduction; promote the pformation of energy saving and emission reduction in key areas and key enterprises, and use information technology to consume energy in the production process.

Waste discharge is monitored in real time to improve the level of intelligent management.

Three, we need to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation.

We should give full play to the role of China Wool Textile Industry Association as the platform of China's National Committee of the International Wool Textile Organization, organize wool textile enterprises to participate in International Wool Textile Organization activities, understand the trade rules, trading information, market trend and technological progress trend of the international wool industry in a timely manner, establish partnership and folk dialogue mechanism with counterparts in various countries, strengthen communication with trade partners, reduce trade friction, and create favorable conditions for the healthy development of the industry.

Ladies and gentlemen, in the next 10 to 20 years, China will be in the new stage of pformation and upgrading to the 4 industry. The pformation and upgrading of the industrial system still need a long process.
