This is because the appreciation of the US dollar has resulted in a significant depreciation of the currency of the major wool producing countries; the price of hybrid wool and coarse wool has been rising; the price of the beautiful wool has created a new high; the price of superfine wool continues to be weak; the price of cotton and chemical fiber has a downward trend.

At present, the sales volume of wool woven and tufted carpets has risen steadily after the trough since 2008, and the sales volume of woven carpet continues to decline. In the future, the wool industry of major developing countries will face various opportunities for development.
