The Expansion Of Xinjiang's Textile Industry Will Exceed 10 Million Ingots By The End Of 2015.

To attract mainland textile and garment enterprises to invest in factories and promote the rapid development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry, it is estimated that the size of Xinjiang's textile will exceed 10 million by the end of 2015.

According to Liu Yanning, director of Xinjiang textile industry management office, in 2015, Xinjiang textile and garment industry attracted further investment and promotion. As of the end of June this year, the mainland textile and garment enterprises invested 118 projects in Xinjiang, including 58 textile projects, with a total investment of 26 billion 750 million yuan, 60 clothing and home textile projects, with a total investment of 2 billion 929 million yuan.

The fixed assets investment in the textile and garment industry reached 7 billion 50 million yuan, an increase of 187% over the same period last year.

It is expected that 4 million spindles will be added to Xinjiang this year, and the textile industry is expected to exceed 10 million spindles by the end of the year.

The region has added 50 million new garments and 67 thousand new jobs.

In 2012, Xinjiang's textile scale was 5 million 500 thousand spindles, reaching 7 million 600 thousand ingots in 2014, and more than 10 million spindles at the end of 2015.

Liu Yanning said that at this rate, the scale of Xinjiang's textile industry is expected to achieve 20 million goals ahead of schedule.

Xinjiang is China's largest cotton producing area. Since 2012, Xinjiang has vigorously developed textile and garment industry to boost employment by relying on its abundant cotton resources.

This development strategy has been approved by the central government and has become a national strategy, bringing great opportunities for the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry.

In 2014, the second central Xinjiang work symposium decided to implement development in Xinjiang.

The clothing industry promotes employment strategy deployment, plans to spend 10 years or so, through the development of textile and apparel industry chain, and ultimately achieve the goal of promoting 1 million people to obtain employment, thereby promoting social stability and long-term stability in Xinjiang.

The state and autonomous region each produced 10 billion yuan and set up a 20 billion yuan scale special fund for the development of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry. The state also issued a series of special industrial policies for Xinjiang to introduce value-added tax to all industries.

The autonomous region has also introduced 10 preferential policies, such as low tariff, freight subsidy, new cotton subsidy, employment training, employee social security subsidy and loan discount, so that the cost of Xinjiang's textile and garment industry is reduced by about 10% compared with that of the mainland, which greatly improves the competitiveness of enterprises and the attraction of investment.

According to statistics, in 2014, Xinjiang's textile and garment industry fixed assets investment completed 9 billion 615 million yuan, a record high, an increase of 76.1% over the same period, the introduction of 48 items of mainland textile and clothing, and 40 thousand new jobs throughout the year.

At present, Xinjiang has formed Urumqi, Changji, Shihezi - Kuitun, Korla - Yuli, Akesu - Al, Kashi, the five major industrial clusters.

In 2015, in order to penetrate more textile and clothing products from Xinjiang into the Western Asian market, the autonomous region coordinated the railway sector to solve the pport corridor problem, and strive to open 10 rows of textile and clothing lines leading to Central Asia, Russia and Europe in the whole year. The Xinjiang textile and garment industry accelerated the pace of entering Asia Europe market.

The entry system of printing and dyeing enterprises must be strictly protected against the elimination of backward production capacity in the mainland to Xinjiang. Enterprises that adopt backward elimination of production capacity, cause environmental pollution or waste resources will not file a record.
