Recently, a bachelor's degree from Bezalel School of art and design, Jerusalem, Soreq has introduced a brand new 3D print shoe. This shoe is not only smooth in shape but also ingenious in function design.

After wearing it, there was a feeling of being in a cloud. How did this special shoe come from?

It turned out that Soreq started experimentation with footwear design from the University in the second years, while in the third and fourth year, it focused on using 3D printing to realize its own ideas.

At Bezalel, Soreq had already completed her first 3D print shoe, though it was just an attempt to get started.

The design at that time was inspired by Pink Floyd's classic album "Dark Side of the Moon (dark side of the moon"). Soreq used this concept to surpass simple vision or appearance, but tried to link the experience of wearing shoes with music for a trip to the moon.

This kind of shoe is also helpful to those who have problems with their knees and back. "My inspiration comes from the structure of human foot muscles and the natural movement of feet at different positions.

This spring heel has a structure that can act as a shock absorber, so that people wearing it will get a completely new experience when walking, and will not feel foot pain or feel pressure like ordinary high-heeled shoes.

Set up

When she first sketches, she uses SolidWorks to develop a digital model.

She even used 3D printing pen to create a solid model.

After confirming that she was satisfied with the design, she sent the 3D model to a Aran-RD SLS 3D printer and printed it out. The shoe was made of Nylon12 material, and the sole was made of photopolymer by Object company in order to avoid friction with the floor.

The shoes are light and comfortable, and are offset by a body.
