International Jute Textile Exhibition Makes Strong Linen Textile Industry To Create Characteristic Industry Chain

In his speech, Wan Guangming said: Xinyu has a long history of hemp spinning technology. As early as 1997, it was awarded the "hometown of Chinese grass cloth" by the Ministry of agriculture in 1997. In 2011, it was awarded the "Jiangxi ramie textile industrial base" by the provincial industrial and Commercial Commission of China. In 2013, it was awarded the title of "China Textile City" by the China Federation of textile industry.

In recent years, Xinyu has been focused on being bigger and stronger.

In order to create a characteristic industrial chain and highlight the industrial agglomeration effect, it has formed a comparative advantage. Ramie industry has been listed as one of the twenty demonstration industrial clusters in Jiangxi province.

At present, there are 325 kinds of hemp spinning enterprises in the city. Ramie planting, degumming, spinning and weaving, weaving, home textiles have been basically formed.

Processing a more complete linen industrial chain.

Annual processing of 850 thousand pieces of summer cloth, annual production of 1 million 500 thousand pieces of summer cloth bedding (sets), accounting for 1/3 of the total output of the country, of which more than 90% of the grass cloth for export; in 2014, the industry realized the main business income of 3 billion 500 million yuan, and exported more than 8000 million dollars.

It is reported that the exhibition will be jointly organised by the China Textile Federation and the China International Trade Promotion Association, the China Textile Association, the China International Trade Promotion Association textile branch, the Jiangxi provincial industry and Information Committee, the Xinyu municipal government and the Jiangxi Trade Promotion Association. It will be held on November 2015 6-8 at the boulder culture and creative garden in Xinyu City, Xinyu. During the Expo, 2016 will be arranged for the conference on China's ramie textile products trend, the China hemp textile industry summit forum, the end of the hemp textile products conference, and the "En Da Cup" 2015 Chinese hemp textile design competition.
