2015 Baby Clothing Nationwide Spot Checks: 510 Batches Of Products Do Not Meet The Standards

Recently, AQSIQ announced children and infants in 2015.

And other 15 product quality national linkage supervision and spot checks results.

A total of 510 batches of products were found to be out of line with the standard requirements.

The content of the wood is not qualified, and the formaldehyde emission from wooden furniture is not qualified.

According to the person in charge of the product quality supervision department of AQSIQ, from June to November this year, the AQSIQ organized the National Quality Supervision Bureau of 30 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) to carry out supervision and spot checks on 15 kinds of product quality, including children and infant clothing, involving 4 categories of light industry products, machinery and security products, agricultural means of production, and building materials products.

According to statistics, a total of 7478 batches of products produced by 7348 enterprises (not involving export products) were surveyed.

After inspection, 6840 enterprises produced 6968 batches of qualified products, detected 510 batches of substandard products, the detection rate of substandard products was 6.8%, and the pass rate of spot checks was 93.2%.

In terms of the detection rate of unqualified products, the detection rate of unqualified products of 5 kinds of products, such as toilet paper, plywood, general Portland cement, overhead insulated cables and lead-acid batteries, was less than 5%; the detection rate of unqualified products of 7 kinds of products, including floc fiber products (pillows, quilts), synthetic resin emulsion interior wall coatings, medium density fiberboard, cold rolled ribbed steel bars, compound fertilizers, power cables and rubber sheathed cables, ranged from 5% to 10%; the detection rates of unqualified products for children and infant clothing, random polypropylene polypropylene (PP-R) pipes and wooden furniture 3 products ranged from 10% to 20%.

From the random checks of enterprises of different sizes, the number of large, medium and small enterprises surveyed accounted for 6.9%, 17.9% and 75.2% of the total number of spot checks, respectively, and the detection rates of substandard products were 1.3%, 3% and 9.2% respectively.

The results of spot checks show that the overall qualified rate of products in large and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises is higher than that of small enterprises.

From different enterprises, the sample of light industry products has been sampled in 2311 batches of products produced by 2293 enterprises, including 4 products of children and infant clothing, fiber products (pillows, quilts), wooden furniture and toilet paper, and the detection rate of substandard products is 10.5%.

Machinery and security products have sampled 1923 batches of products produced by 1919 enterprises, including 5 products of cold rolled ribbed steel bars, power cables, rubber sheathed cables, overhead insulated cables and lead-acid batteries. The detection rate of substandard products is 6.5%.

Agricultural production data examined 758 batches of products produced by 754 enterprises, including 1 kinds of compound fertilizers, and the detection rate of substandard products was 5.9%.

The products of building materials have been sampled in 2486 batches of products produced by 2382 enterprises, including 4 kinds of synthetic resin emulsion interior wall coatings, random copolymer polypropylene (PP-R) pipes, medium density fiberboard and general Portland cement, and the detection rate of substandard products is 3.9%.

A total of 510 batches of products were found to be out of line with the standard requirements. The main quality problems were: the fiber content of children and infant clothing was not qualified;

The total number of bacterial colonies was unqualified; the formaldehyde emission from wooden furniture was not qualified; the scrubbing resistance of wood furniture interior wall paint was not qualified; the formaldehyde emission of plywood was not qualified; the MDF's static strength was not qualified; the hydrostatic test of PP-R was not qualified; the intercostal distance of cold rolled ribbed steel bars was not qualified; the strength of common portland cement was not qualified; the nutrient content of compound fertilizer was not qualified; the weight loss test of power cable was not qualified; the tensile strength of rubber sheath cable was not qualified before insulation aging; the insulation extension and insulation heat shrinkage of overhead insulated cable were not qualified; the battery capacity of lead-acid storage was not qualified. The fiber content of the quilt is not qualified; toilet paper.

At present, the AQSIQ has asked relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) quality supervision departments in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, to check the unqualified products and their production enterprises in accordance with the law, and supervise the spot checks of unqualified enterprises to implement the main responsibility for quality and safety.

At the same time, it is required to inform the people's governments of all provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) of the results of the random inspection, increase the intensity of government information disclosure, and publish the list of spot checks enterprises on the government websites of the departments in accordance with the requirements so as to enhance social supervision.

According to the above person in charge, the next step is that the quality inspection department will further strengthen the quality supervision of consumer goods, constantly strengthen the quality supervision and spot check of consumer goods, standardize the market economic order, and strive to improve the consumption environment.
