Beijing Business Council: Very Cross Border O2O To Encourage The City To Open Experience Shop

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Commerce Commission issued a circular on the intention to submit the intention to open cross-border e-commerce outlets.

The notice said Beijing intends to set up special regulatory zones such as free trade zones and comprehensive protection areas.

In June 1st of this year, Americo, a cross-border e-commerce platform under the new Yongan group, opened Beijing's first cross-border O2O experience store beside the West Fourth Ring Road.

The store covers an area of about 300 square meters. It adopts the operation thinking of the warehouse supermarket, and has three functions, such as storing stock, selling general trade import (duty paid) goods to consumers, and displaying cross border imports (unpaid) goods.

In June of this year, life, a fast moving consumer goods supplier, entered the cross-border O2O business in the form of a good neighbor convenience store.

And in September of this year, fresh life once again made efforts on O2O, and opened the "fresh life" O2O experience Museum in Dongcheng District, Beijing.

This year, as cross-border electricity providers become more mature, the policy of cross-border O2O will become clearer.

In June 9th this year, the Ministry of finance, the General Administration of customs and the State Administration of Taxation jointly announced the relevant import tax policies of Guangdong, Tianjin and Fujian free trade pilot area.

The policy is clear that under the premise of strictly implementing the import and export tax policy, it is permitted to set up a bonded exhibition and trading platform in the three special customs supervision areas of the pilot free trade zone.
