Recently, the national textile standard and Metrology working conference was held in Beijing in 2015.

Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, revealed that during the "12th Five-Year" period, the industry completed 828 standards revision.

According to Sun Ruizhe, textile standardization has been promoted since 12th Five-Year.

Upgrading quality and efficiency, meeting consumers' demand for textile products are the starting point. Taking the revision of standards as the center, with the optimization of technical organization construction and working mechanism as support, great progress has been made in the construction of standard system, international standardization, and implementation of standards.

In the past 5 years, 828 standards have been completed and revised in the whole industry.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, the textile industry has also set up several technical committees. At present, the total number of technical standardization organizations in the whole industry has reached 28. Nearly 2000 standardized experts have been appointed as members, forming a standardized professional technical team with a wide coverage, strong representativeness and professional proficiency. Standardized technical institutions have actively participated in the work of international standardization. China's standards internationalization has made significant breakthroughs, and the conversion rate of international standards has reached 77.68%. The initiative of all enterprises to participate in standardization work has been continuously strengthened, and they have actively undertaken national and industrial standards, and even drafted international standards, and their standardization ability and level have been improved.

For the general requirements of the industry standardization work during the "13th Five-Year" period, Sun Ruizhe said,

"Textile industry is the sprint stage of China's textile power construction. Textile standardization is faced with dual tasks of supporting quality upgrading, upgrading efficiency and deepening its own reform.

The standardization work should be guided by the needs of industrial development, the basic line of ensuring consumer safety, and the goal of building a unified market with services. We should speed up work reform and set up a standard system to adapt to market, system coordination and internationalization, and gradually form a standard system and management system that the government is leading the formulation of standards and coordinated development of the market independently, so as to provide important technical support for the textile "13th Five-Year" and the building of a textile power.
