Will Jingdong Take Chinese Designers To Join The New York Fashion Week?

China's second largest electricity supplier group, JD.com Inc. (NASDAQ:JD), Jingdong announced in February 3rd that it will continue to be held in New York fashion week in February after the Milan Fashion Week "Jingdong" campaign.

The event will bring 5 designers to New York for the fashion show.

The 5 designers are Zhang Chi, Guo Ruiping, Li Kun, Pan Yiliang and Australian football player and designer Tim Cahill (currently in Shanghai Shenhua). The fashion show will be held in February 17th, and the event is still the joint European design center.

Xin Li Jun, President of Jingdong apparel and home business department, said that the activities not only help designers, but also provide new series for the group's 132 million users.

He also said that Chinese consumers are very interested in the latest fashions and are willing to buy from their trusted websites.

New York fashion Zhou Jingdong's New Romantic will be guided by Maurizio Pecoraro, creative director of the European design centre and Mario Boselli, honorary chairman of the European design centre.
