The EU is an important regional economic organization of Jiaxing's export.

Public information shows that in 2015, the total annual export volume of Jiaxing's main export markets to the EU was 5 billion 242 million US dollars, accounting for 22.9% of the total exports of the city.

Therefore, the revision of the REACH regulation will affect many export enterprises in Jiaxing.

According to introducing, NPEO is a kind of surfactant, widely used in industrial cleaning agent and emulsifier, textile and leather treatment agent, household cleaning agent, metal coating process, etc.

NPEO enters the environment and decomposes into toxic environmental hormones. It interferes with endocrine and belongs to carcinogens.

Previously, the EU's restrictions on NPEO content were limited to industrial cleaning, household washing, paper making, personal care products and so on.

This is the first time that textiles are included in the restricted category.

According to the analysis, under the background of "remanufacturing" in European and American countries, there will be more and more opportunities for "positive confrontation" between the export products of our city and its local industrial products.
